How to get ON and OFF your Royal Enfield Classic 350

Seems obvious doesn't it? You think you've got it all sorted. Well, until I watched a video by ‪@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle‬ I thought so too! Getting on and off your Royal Enfield Classic 350 will never be the same again.

Gave you a sub for that one. Very funny. I just got a Classic 350 yesterday. Matte black with the red stripes. Absolutely love it. I had the dealer put the engine guard on. The only this I’m doing to the bike is possibly getting that pannier ammo box.

I never have anyone or thing on the back so I use the low side. But I can’t wait to have my pannier installed in April. Couldn’t manage it myself but I’m thinking maybe it’s because my passengers seat is attached per factory. I always enjoy your quick vids on the Classic!

Low/Low. Passengers always get on/off when I'm on, not before... Funny vid, but I'll stick with the low side, and maybe it's because I'm 6'-4", but it's my go to. Ride Safe 🙏🏼

In 45 years of biking I never realised this 😮. Every day's a school day 👍. With a big(ish) tourer with side cases e.g BMW RT. From the low side I did the "post your leg through" technique which invariably meant a bit of hopping with the ground leg. Same for the dismount. Never tried it with the high side. With the Classic 350, I will now - even when it's unnecessary 😂. On the centre stand I either take it off first. Or if I'm feeling a bit lazy mount up first then rock it off the centre stand. But it IS very lazy 😂

I'm of a age when getting your leg over is a problem no matter what side.

It's probably the 2nd most important thing, my last bike was damaged because it fell off, not by accident because the way i used to get on and off off her. The most important question is how to put on double stand properly.

As with all my bikes over the years , with care , having short legs has been a concern , but taking on board your video I will practice and see , I once parked my triumph Tiger on a road with a pronounced camber and had to ask my wife to Puch me upright to get the bike of the side stand ! Now you know why us shorties has small man sindrome ! Take care

It's worth a try... not sure if I'll ever get on from the high side... but fun to try!

I don't know about your bike, but mine has pegs on both sides. Lol. So I can step on the low side peg with stuff on the back and easily get on the bike.

Puts a lot of extra stress on the side stand mount in my opinion, which will make it loose or in a worse case break! Sooo yeah I'd avoid it 🤷🏻‍♂️

On my classic it is low side. However, watching this video I can see getting on high side is just so cool and totally awesome.

With bike on side stand, the left/low side is most natural for me. But using the foot pegs as a step-up probably means the bike is too tall! And, stepped saddles/tailpieces are a hazard for us ' shorties'

Low side is fine if you use the foot peg. The bike is perfectly stable.

I have a habit of putting center stand while seating on my bike. So both sides feel the same for me

I if the baggage isn't too big I tend to mount from the high side..if it's a good size baggage I prefer to leap frog on from the rear....

Low side is safer off the curb pavement sidewalk. High side your in the road

The High side my save your life, at least in cities or busy streets, that why Cops do it.

Especially if you drive on the right hand side of the road…. We’re on the left in Australia, so it doesn’t make much sense…
