@@godofhell322 aye thanks man, gotta be honest, I was only having this problem due to being on a mobile hotspot. The fix I found was to simply update my phone 😅, I guess my phone was just restricting what could connect due to not being up to date.

Do not unplug your console while its still on! This guy in the video uses this as a final tip but he lacks some important knowledge about the technology mentioned in the video(xbox) unplugging the power source directly from the console while its still on or powering down is extremely dangerous as it can permanently brick (destroy the cpu and O.S) your console because the cpu and ram are constantly running information like button presses, background apps, the things displayed on screen etc and when you cut the power off instantly without a proper shutdown it stops all current processes and actions/information that the cpu and ram were doing without allowing it to close the functions meaning on the next bootup the system will try to resume all processes while being forced to begin new processes due to start up which can cause corruption in the storage, ram, cpu etc it does severe damage if you're not careful. However you can usually get away with it because the xbox usually clears all issues from the system on a slow start up but for those of you with fast start up enabled, you are at greater risk of damaging software. So i repeat DO NOT INTENTIONALLY REMOVE THE POWER SOURCE DURING OPERATION OF THE DEVICE.

Your advice didn’t work unfortunately, but if you go to port settings and change to manual, and picks a random one then re test your bay type it should work. It worked for me

@@Mustafaaazx you guys might have a double nat issue. I had that before. You need to plug the internet to a pc and use comand promt to see if you have double nat. If you have you need to put a router or your modem in buypass mode. There are videoes on it.

You should also be using an Ethernet as well unplugging the router and unplug ALL parts of the Xbox power cord for 3 min. Start up the router first and wait for it to come back online. Then plug the Xbox back up and start it up. Lastly, you MUST test the Nat type again. That should fix it

You got a new subscriber here pardner. After following the steps you outlined, my NAT still came back as moderate. Then I unplugged my Comcast modem/router and Xbox for 2 minutes. It was still reporting as moderate. Then I remembered I still had my desktop pc still running in another room, so I turned it off, tested again and this time it came back OPEN!

You need to log into your internets router settings. You should see an admin user name and password underneath your WiFi/router box. Google your WiFis ip address or find it in your settings on Xbox and go on google or whatever browser and search your ip address in the search bar and then log in with the user name and password on your WiFi box. Look around for upnp settings and enable it. Then disable ipv6 and enable ipv4 then restart.

I play upstairs and router is downstairs, usually when I'm playing multiplayer, no connection issues only a few times that were lagging, but generally ok. But after a few months, one day it kept lagging, screen froze and it said local network disconnected, but there's no issue with my wifi, after that I checked NAT and it was "Moderate". I followed the steps in this video until clear the address part, finally it's "Open"!!! Thanks a lot!!!
