Romanticizing your life is not about having a perfect life. It’s about appreciating little things and knowing your life is beautiful, too! Getting through a slump takes time, but every moment is purposeful. Thank you for allowing me space to share & I hope you enjoy my honest thoughts, too :) If you enjoyed our time together, if you could please help me by: 1. Subscribing if you haven’t already 2. Smashing the like button on this video 👍 3. Watching the video all the way through Thank you for being here :)

Thank you for making the point that “romanticizing your life” does not mean having a perfect life. I feel like especially within our generation we can get so caught up with comparing our lives to others (social media) or thinking we have to have our future all figured out, or that by a certain age we should be at a certain point in our lives (society’s standards). It’s always so refreshing watching your videos! I’ll be praying for you during this current season of your life and that you’ll be obedient to where God’s leading you!

My best friend is a yoga teacher and she is ALWAYS on about the fact that we store emotion in our hips, and hip flexor stretches are ESSENTIAL for mental wellbeing. So, it makes sense that you felt a bit sad after doing your hip exercises! She gets people crying in her classes 💕

Just found this channel and the timing is perfect. I’ve been in the teaching field for like…ever! But I just feel like it’s not for me and I’m trying to make the switch to marketing and it’s been very difficult… had a handful or more interviews by now and let me tell you: Rejection is awful and ghosting is even worse. So here I am now, in a slump and I’m asking God to give me patience to get through this and to keep enduring.

Thank you for this helpful video! Sending you hugs! 🤗 I just left teaching, as well. It has been a difficult transition here, too. I can relate and my heart goes out to you! I have been reflecting and feel it’s because teaching (especially these days) is an exhausting level of constantly giving to others and filling everyone’s cup…but our own cup is so very empty which is not healthy. Teaching is the hardest job I’ve ever loved but it’s not sustainable. This is hard to accept with something there’s been so much passion for, and something I thought i’d do forever! 😢 Please know you’re still investing in others’ lives and I thank you so much!! You are an amazing inspiration!! ❤
