That was extremely helpful. Mostly when I watch pool tutorials, I don't actually learn very much, aside from the fact that I need to practise much more. I really learnt a great deal from this tutorial . Really appreciated :) .

Never seen your version of object ball through centre of cushion before. I've always done halfway between cueball and object ball and through the pocket. Yours is defo simpler, sweet as. Shall try this out on Saturday.

Cheers mate, it’s just another way to do. It doesn’t mean it’s perfect. There are so many other ways also.

Never seen this centre of the rail method, ive always been told line up object ball with centre of corner pocket, parallel shift to cue ball, hit with running side, this seems a lot more consistent playing plain ball, look forward to trying it out👍

There are a few ways of doing this. This is just one of them at the end of the day It’s just a general guide to hopefully not fouling. Good luck.

Technique that works....double the distance object ball to side of table parallel. aim your cue to that imaginary point past the table,where your cue In tersects the cushion that's where you aim...so long as no balls in the way works everytime

Hadn’t seen the center of the rail, angle transfer before. Much easier than some of the systems I’ve tried. Thank you!

Thanks for that. I've been playing for 50 years and didn't know that method for playing off 2 cushions. I saw another of your videos explaining international rules. Do you think international rules will take over from world rules in Australia and which rules do you prefer?

Cheers mate there are a few different ways to get out of snookers this is just one of them. Yes I think international rules will overtake in the future because it’s now played at a world level so it will take a few years to filter down. I like them yes 👍

Surely the two rail system depends where the cue ball is?.....i don't understand whybyou use the centre of the cushion as the start point?

There are a number of ways you can do this. This is just one of them this is just a guide and yes the white ball has to be in certain areas where I showed you for this to work. 😊

@MichaelScerri147 I just happened to pause the video at 4:28. It looks like you stick is aimed at the cushion in front of the diamond. Not the diamond itself. True or false?
@MichaelScerri147
@MichaelScerri147 Жыл бұрын
@@kenergy5847 There are no diamonds on this table. I was just pointing in the general direction to where I want to hit on the cushion itself.

Hmmmm.....Great tutorial. I've always explained to people that the target is actually as wide as the white ball, but each side of the object ball again. So we use a 2 inch ball.....target is 6 inches. Or 3 inches either side of centre. Is this good advice? Particularly in one cushion snookers
@MichaelScerri147
@MichaelScerri147 Жыл бұрын
Yeah look each table plays different especially the rails so at least with this you have a rough guide on getting close to not fouling 😄

I find you the best at explaining things regarding pool and your ability is second to none so feel free to shoot me down. At 2.43 your white ball misses the chalk (aim point) by a good 100mm yet still hits the object ball dead centre. The next two shots are closer yet still not hitting the chalk, same again at 7.00, that is miles off. Am I missing something?
@MichaelScerri147
@MichaelScerri147 Жыл бұрын
Your only using the centre part of the rail to line up object ball to the rail to get the potting angle, once you have that then you move across using that angle for the white. The white ball isn’t meant to go exactly where the chalk is. Unless your doing the one rail escape shown at the start. It’s a little hard to explain sorry.

so the fact that u dont say anything about by hitting with more force takes the angle out of the rail
@MichaelScerri147
@MichaelScerri147 Жыл бұрын
Yeah it can all depend on the rails of each table I’m basing this off a medium Pace shot. Some people may have to hit it slightly harder or slightly softer, but this is a general guide.
