hey, sis! so what should our 8th holy habit be to get back on track?! 👀 I'm thinking: 30 minutes of intentional *silent* time. No music, no podcast, no TV - 30 minutes of total silence every day to clear the airwaves to hear from God.

I would say making a habit of being vulnerable with God during our secret place time and just throughout our day, like even though He already knows what's going on just being intentional about letting Him in on how we're feeling allows us to feel closer to Him, I think! ❤

Thank you for this video Melody. I think my number 8 is definitely accepting where I am now, and being okay with that by taking one step at a time, day by day. And noticing the season I’m in, and where God has brought me during this time, what he’s showing me and what he wants me to focus on during this current time. And truly giving him all of my worries and ALL my concerns, not just bits and pieces of it. Knowing that in due time, those things I’m worried about will come to pass and be taken care of, and really just paying attention to today.

8th habit: Plan each day with The Lord. Ask Him how He would like your day to go. It keeps you in routine, focused and productive. When you allow The Holy Spirit to plan each day, He will include time with Him. Having a consistent routine with Him at the centre will get you back on track with Him.

I really needed this video today. From the very first point, I felt both convicted and attacked 😂😂 Thank you so much, Melody! My no.8 would be having a routine that works for ME, not for anyone else. Sometimes, I think we're so focused on how other people do things or that our timelines are moving a lot slower than everyone else around us, and we try to force our feet into shoes that don't fit. Building such personal routines (following the Bible) can help us rely on God's timing and appreciate each moment as we live it.

My 8th holy habit would be prioritizing prayer time:) Prayer is so important with guarding our hearts, and keeping others in prayer is amazing, I really believe the prayers of others are what kept me going in this walk.. As well as seeing how God has picked up the people I've been praying for and I believe that God is moved by prayer so if we build our faith by praying and fasting like it says in Matt 17:20-21 we will truly see how God can make a difference in this world!!

The 6th step really is what I struggle with so hearing that confirmation was really what I needed to be able to stand firm in my decision to leave social media, change the music I listen to, and to change my form of entertainment. So I’ve seen a lot of people saying things like observe some type of sabbath when God only called us to observe ONE sabbath .The fourth commandment says to remember the sabbath day to keep it holy six’s days do your labor but the seventh is Gods. The sabbath was established at the beginning long before the Jewish nation was established. And I encourage you all to do your history on how the sabbath has been attacked from Saturday to Sunday. If you really want to know how to sabbath look at Christ. Don’t say well Christ was a Jew, so that doesn’t apply, the Bible says in Matthew 12:8 says “For the Son of Man is even Lord of the sabbath day” . I urge you all to earnestly praying ask God to reveal the true sabbath to you and how it has been a manipulated by religious political powers over history. A great resource is Amazing facts and I encourage you all to PRAY to God and has him for guidance before you respond. Because I share this with an intention of us all going back to Gods word and asking HIM for guidance. Know the word for yourself that others can’t deceive you.
