i just went through a breakup but the most heartbreaking part is the fact that i fell for someone who is not a believer in Christ, feeling like i could change him.. and choosing my own fleshly desires over what i knew was right. the conviction hit like a train and i felt like God would never forgive me. the pain was almost unbearable but…. when i prayed & asked God to begin to build me, my heart didn’t hurt as much. sometimes straying from God has consequences. there’s a reason he tells us to remain abstinent. there was a calmness when i realized… no, i can’t take back the mistakes i made, but I have to truly believe God forgives me and know that only he can give me the perfect love i need. ❤️ and only a man of GOD will love me how i deserve to be loved!!!

I’m so happy I came across your video! My boyfriend broke up with me about 2 weeks ago because he said he felt like he is being called into a season of singleness. Neither of us saw it coming or wanted it to happen, but he said that he felt like he wasn’t being the man he is called to be and he needs to not be a boyfriend in order to be a better boyfriend if that makes sense, and that we both need to refocus our relationship with God and better ourselves for ourselves, not for each other. It’s hard trying to move on not knowing if we’ll be together again in the future or not but I’m trying not to overthink it and to trust God. He prayed over me the day we broke up and I’ve been continuing to pray for him. I know we’re both growing in Christ so that’s a blessing at least.

It's so weird to read this, because im in a similar situation right now. It is extremely painful. He is my best friend, family, just all in one. We were planning to get married in 2021. This just feel so unreal and like a nightmare. I just can't believe it. And especially the part that i don't know if we're getting back together or not. Please pray for me as i walk through my first ever heartbreak. Its not easy, but the first thing i did on the car ride home- was say God is still good and listened to worship music. I cried my eyes out, as i sat with feelings of hurt and betrayal. But i could take comfort in knowing that this man broke up with me, to better his relationship with Christ. I wasn't exactly in a relationship with him, but it seemed like it. And the moment I felt it( love) I was upfront about it. It's being almost 7 months he left, after leading me on, and it hasn't been easy walking the road to healing. But I rest assured in God's promises. Fortunately, this separation has positively impacted my relationship with God. I have learned to pray more, to worship God, to seek His face in anything and everything, and rely totally on God. I have also learned to forgive, and strangely, forgiveness was the easiest part of my journey. I pray every now and then for him to acknowledge God and walk closely with the Good Good Father. Hey Angela, thank you for this video. I’m 3 weeks out of losing my partner in crime. She ended our relationship after 5 years and I have been pretty devastated to say the least. However, I wasn’t following Christ really when we were together (I was raised Christian but turned away) shes not religious so that didn’t help me in that aspect. The good news is since she decided to end it my relationship with God has grown 100 times what it was. I’m slowly learning Gods love and his mercy. I’m trying to trust him during this painful time in my life. I don’t have Instagram anymore I deleted all my social media after this happened so I would separate myself of all photos and reminders. However, I do have a few prayer requests that I would really appreciate. 1. (And most important to me) pray that she finds Christ’s love. I'm going through this right now, but I don't have a group of godly friends to be around. I lived with my boyfriend and everything around me reminds me of him. And each time I think of him I cry heavily. I'm overwhelmed. I am reading the Word as well. I am in psalms currently. I'm struggling because I really love my ex. I meet this guy and the good thing is he lead me to a church where I eventually accepted God ,however though... before all of that we were together but we hadn’t put a title on it. He then told me one day he needed to leave to focus on God and his future which I understood. It’s hard though I have to see him every Wednesday and Sunday because I love the church that I am at. I came across this video. I am a believer and really sought the Lord through this relationship. We were friends for a year and didn’t date that long, but because super spiritually connected and emotionally and that led to physically. We have broken up multiple times. Okay you may never see this comment, but let me vent it out here! This is the second time i’m going through the most terrible heartbreaks! I just ended a relationship with my girlfriend, yes it is an lgbt relationship. I’m not always like this, i used to be straight and used to be in love with a boy(my first terrible heartbreak) who really got me into some things I don’t want, i really did terrible things and even started to question my sexuality, i got more and more off with a man, because over all i have gone through terrible assaults by men and it is really hard for me to trust men again and that’s how i started having relationships with girls but as much i always try to justify myself there is something inside me that’s telling me that it is not right, i used to try to get out of the lgbt community alot of times but i always failed. my first bf and I both realized we had to break up. I'm Catholic and he's protestant, and initially we didn't really acknowledge that. we were both happy to praise the same God together. then questions did start popping up. he asked a lot of them and I didn't know how to answer his questions about catholicism. I'd been born Catholic, but for the first time I questioned my belief system. I reached out to other protestant friends and took their doctrine and compared to Catholic doctrine. the more and more I poured over books and traditions and scripture the more I felt drawn to the Catholic church. initially my head had been spinning. I came close to changing my mind on some stuff but I didn't. the worst part is I still couldn't seem to explain my faith to my bf. I felt very pressured and attacked and I started stressing that he'd never accept my faith so I just shut my mouth. that was the wrong thing to do. I started physically suffering because of my stress... I was losing hair, throwing up, breaking out in hives and experiencing back and abdominal pain. I kid you not we got in religious arguments and then realized we had to walk away when we both saw we weren't getting anywhere in talking it out. rather than growing each other in faith like we had initially we were suddenly fighting against each other. I felt so broken but God washed all my stress away. I felt SO much better physically. and I'm still pouring so much time into learning about the Catholic faith. it's what God is pulling me towards. and I will always love my bf as a fellow follower of the Lord. he is the one person who's made the biggest impact on my life ever. I truly feel that I can say I've actually accepted Jesus and laid everything in front of him. thanks also for your video! really appreciate it

I found out in Sept 2022 that my ex was cheating on me for 6 months. We were together for 4 years. After finding out, I broke up with him. But a few weeks later we were back again. We have been in a constant on again/off again up until January 7 when he broke up with me this time. We broke up because I found out he has another woman whom he met only 3 times. The hurt and pain is so overwhelming that I cannot believe he chose someone who he only met 3 times over me who he was with for 4 years. Note I spoke to him and asked to reconsider his decision but he already made up his mind. It hurts but I have no choice but to move on. Praying to God gives me peace of mind.
