Hello and welcome back, my friends. Today, i'll be sharing how to get over a cold by showing you the sick day routine that i've perfected in 2021. Ofcourse, no one likes to get sick or get a cold and be stuck in bed, but it's the perfect time to slow down, catch up on some shows and reading, and allow your sick body to REST. Here's to recovering quickly and enjoying the rest of autumn to the fullest!
Tips to get over a cold:
- REST! Sleep in, take plenty of naps, rest your body by staying in bed while reading or watching your favorite show or documentary
- Fluids, fluids fluids- Drink teas, juices, water, and especially smoothies or cold pressed juices with ginger and lemon
- Take vitamins and supplements such as vitamin D, around 2,000mg of vitamin C, Zinc
- Elderberry syrup is wonderful to help you battle those nasty colds
- Make sure to eat hearty meals to keep your strength up. I personally love anything in soup consistency.
- A bath, sauna, or steam room is a great way to sweat those toxins out of your body
- Most importantly: DON'T GIVE YOURSELF A HARD TIME for not doing anything. You're already working so hard battling a cold. Let your immune system have a fighting chance to work full force while your physical body rests
