yes, unfortunately ghosting happens in the workplace!

@ Perhaps we have an environment non-conducive to community building. As individual, I can try to be authentic, vulnerable and proactive trying to build little community network. I think I also should avoid environments or habits of having to conform. I suppose financial independence sounds most independent. Maybe self-employment would be much better for me too.

Women: "Oh, that guy is unavailable. Let us be interested in him! Ugh, the other guy is clearly interested in monogamy. Oh cruel Fate, why dost thou confuse!?" Lots of times limerance happens when we aren't being very authentic with others or even ourself. And projections, etc. Also antisocial communities sometimes, and polarized views of other groups as dangerous or privileged or disdainful and reasonable targets of misuse. Also moe people growing uo in broken family dynamics and less wealth in Western countries, so less chance for healthy families. Women: "Oh he is broody and mysterious! Let us like him a lot! Yikes, he revealed his normal reality, kinda boring now."

Lots of women will be turned off by men being nice to them, or gentlemen, or dedicated... so women want these men because they are aloof... maybe learn to assert self and distinguish between competence / arrogance , availability / limerance , authenticity / fantasy...
