Amazing info always. Just a quick note on PPL here in the UK. It's not just for record labels (as stated in the vid). Featured performers can also collect. So if you've played an instrument, or your vocal is featured on a track, you should def sign up. We call it a Neighbouring Right. Their equivalant in the US would be Sound Exchange, but I don't think Sound Exchange collects internationally. So guys in the US should def sign up. Much love!

The reason why they say "copyrighted" is because of the root word in the word copyright - right. There is no significant change for the past tense of the word "right" since it is a noun. It is a thing. The word "write" has the past tense "written" because it is a verb (it is something you do) & verbs are conjugated more & used in more different ways. Long story short, there's a difference between the word "right" & the word "write" just like "there" "their" & "they're" all sound the same, but mean entirely different things.

@@MusicMoneyMakeover So I have a question can someone steal your song that you wrote and produce and get away it especially if you are the copyright owner because I'm going through this situation right now I never met this artist before and he heard me on one of these streaming sites and stole my song and made his own version to it I have tried to contact him like 3 times and he ignored me each time and I talk to a intellectual lawyer and he told me free things to do so make a long story short I got sheet music made for both songs and come to find out both songs are in the same key and played the exact way only difference is his is a little faster and he changed the lyrics and added some stuff but its the same song I say it's derivative work because my song is I can be your hero and his song is I can't be no hero it's like a remix to my song and he got over 12 million streams on Spotify and a record label own his masters to that version of the song because I see it at the bottom of the info on Spotify. ALSO I look on the u.s. copyright library of congress library and he did even have a copyright to the song but I do so I did what the lawyer said and got in touch with Spotify and did everything what they ask me to do but I still haven't heard from them I guess they busy or still investigating but I'm tired of waiting and I feel like how can someone steal my stuff get more streams than me and make money off of my hard earned work while they are in the millions I only got a thousand of streams for the song is there any thing else I can do?
