rule number 1 if you want to make money as a photographer. be actually good at taking photos

Kevin Hart once said "Everyone wants to be famous, but nobody wants to put in the work" Same goes with photography, people want to get clients... but nobody wants to grind their way by doing stuff for free, you need to network first show your skills then you'll land deals.

@@youungbeezy Yeah a circular polariser, I've tried them, the reflections are just too strong, I love them for shooting from the outside of a car, to the inside, but for a KZbin setup, you really just need to get the lighting done right, and that takes time

it's hard to just do it for fun for me. A lot of the time i don't have any friends that are interested in photography and it's hard finding cool subjects if you don't have money to make concepts or travel. In my case in live in Jamaica which is lacking when it comes to architecture, cars/motorcycles. i went to nyc and since i've come back i haven't taken anything I'm satisfied with

Start experimenting with different techniques like macro photography or using long exposures. Wake up for sun rise and be out at sunset, cut the bottom off a coke can and glue some leaves in there and put it in front of your lens - point it at shit until you see something interesting - the are no limits to what you can do. I once found a brown crunched up leaf and brought it inside, put it in front of a bright window and made some amazing black and white photos that I love to this day. I know it's hard to force creativity, but watch some more videos for ideas and start trying them without any expectations or pressure on yourself to make something perfect. You'll have more fun and the creativity will start to flow.

This video is an absolute rip off of an @northborders video from 4 months ago. Tons of people copy video ideas but yours was the same topic, subject, structure and some of the script lines might as well have been word for word. Not the right way to grow your channel.

I think it's much easyer contacting in real world then making contacts online with brands. For example i only have 600 followers and not many companies would see my stuff. But when all your collegues know that you di photos they come and ask you to do stuff. And then it starts rolling
