How to get Power going | Realistic isolated Island | Workers and Resources 4

Manage a Soviet Republic on an island with no border posts in realistic mode. Activated features: Realistic Mode, Water and Sewage, Waste, Research, Crime and Justice, Wear and Tear and Seasons. Everything except Money on Hard/Complex.
It is mostly vanilla, but following modpacks are necessary:

@@ddennisshow that i didnt wanted to resort to that mod and some sort of power generator is now on the list of things I have to build first, maybe even first one

Congrats on getting the new power plant done already! Stupid me was exporting oil for months (years?) until I realized I could use it to replace the coal power plant that was running on imports, LOL
