Hi, thanks for this tutorial. At now it's the one that gave me the best results. My voice isn't cut off anymore at the beginning of my sentences. On the other hand, after applying all the parameters, my voice picks often reach the red in the spector although everything is OK at the beginning. Do you know what I can do?
@MasterEditor54 ай бұрын
Red means it is crossing -3 dB or is it below that? If it does not cross -3 dB it is not a problem. However, the listening experience matters most. If you want to avoid getting in the redzone, you can apply Normalize with -4 or -5 dB at the last step
@GuiDaFunkyMan4 ай бұрын
@@MasterEditor5 Sometimes it reaches -3. However, according to you, it's not so problematic so I'll let these parameters like they are. Thanks for answering me anyway.

Subo a KZbin audiolibros. Muchas gracias.

I haven't given much thought about this yet, but I would look for some software that can translate video to Spanish

3.6 was the first time I decided against using the new update. And, from what I see here, I will likely continue with the older version - 3.5. It's hard to explain, but it just feels different. It is slowing me down. I do not like the newer interface adjustments. That's just me, but when you get accustomed to an interface, a change can slow you down.
@MasterEditor54 ай бұрын
You are correct! It hampers workflow. However, Audacity is not well maintained for older versions of OS. They generally test new versions on the recent OS. So in future the older versions can become incompatible with the OS upgrade. I do not recommend upgrading Audacity in the middle of a running project. But once you get a window of experiment, upgrading will keep you in sync.

Danke sehr

The entire waveform just disappears at random in this recent update -- just a blank white space inside Audacity. The timeline still functions normally and the sound will still playback. This is extremely annoying, with the only option is to close and re-open Audacity. If anyone know how to remedy this, please let me know. I'm using Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon.

Great tutorial! Just wanted to send you a heads up about the PDF guide, btw.. Your link description says "Get the Free Sound Better PDF guide:" and when you click your link it takes you to a MailChimp page that states: "Simple 5 step guide for Better sound. Get the 5 simple steps to make your sound better in Audacity." and asks users to input their email address and name. Once they do, though, it signs people up for your email list. I'm not sure if you're aware but not plainly stating users are added to an email list, or allowing users to opt-in by choice, is a violation of the FTC's CAN-SPAM Act. They give out some seriously harsh fines (up to $51k per email/violation) to businesses that are found non-compliant with the CAN-SPAM laws. Just thought you should know. Best of luck!

Thank you very much for letting me know. I was not aware of this. However, I have the easily visible option to unsubscribe from the mailing list. I have now added a plain text about adding to the mailing list. Thanks again!

@MasterEditor54 күн бұрын
Actually Audacity don't have a great De-Esser. There is a free 3rd party option that you can find in Audacity forum. Switching to Another software is not that complex once you know Audacity. The basics and principles are same around any software.

I thought KZbin would not let you monetize using AI voiceovers on your videos? Is this misinformation?
@MasterEditor52 ай бұрын
KZbin has no issue of monetization with AI voice as long as your contents are original. If you just read a bunch of texts using AI, that is not monetizable. If you just put together some random stock videos and use AI voice, that may not pass the review due to reuse or repeat content policy. I make screen records and then I put my original narration, so it does not matter for KZbin if I am using AI voice.

It's probably because of the accent, the tone of his voice or to save time or maybe all of them.

@@luisariastierra Thanks for trying to understand. The accent and tone are the main reason. It actually takes more time to make these videos with AI voice. If I used my own voice, then I would record and will be done. But now I had to record the audio and video separately and then had to edit them together. Once again, thanks for taking the time to understand.

The program's interface turned out horrible, making the experience much harder for those who were already familiar with it. There is no way to see if the track is in 44100hz, and it no longer shows how many bits the track is. They ruined the program's interface; it became very cheap and poorly done. Horrible. I went back to version 6.5.
