I really enjoy your videos and they have really peaked my interest in SWLign. My Grundig 400 ultra compact radio that I recieved for christmas just died on my and Im looking to get a GS450dlx thanks in large part to your excellent review. I am excited to make my first QSL report, watched on HP Pavillion 06:10 UTC, signal strength excellent, Smiths Falls Ontario Canada. haha

Nice informative video, thanks. I just got back into SWL last month after 22 years and wanted to refresh my memory on how to request QSL cards. Things have changed in the last 20+ years. I was told recently that the USPS no longer issues the IRC coupons so now you must send the radio stations either postage stamps or cash.

yes I have heard the same here in Canada .. it seems that IRC's are almost impossible to get now ... getting more complex ...maybe eqsl is the way to go ... no postage and little cost on the other side 73

OfficialSWLchannel Last week, i QSLed WWV and CHU via email. That saved my money to buy IRCs. If your local postage company doesn't sell any IRCs anymore, emailing reception reports was the way to go. The reason why i use email to sent reception reports to stations because email is much more cheaper than traditional mail. Only the thing we need to email reception reports to a station is to retrieve an email address from an international / utility broadcaster.
