Go to House, pick services then choose Garage Kits. You can see there's a variety of recipes there. Also some of the recipes are from an event. Especially the snow globe. So you might miss them or something. I hope this helps

You need to have at least a vacant cabinet to start cooking.

Have you tried to rearrange the table or take out the chairs?

Just click on the food, there's an option to eat it or take it out of the table again. If it doesn't show, the table must be in a position where your character can't reach it. Don't block it with other furni
