one of my recent shorts on my other account got 200% retention and currently has 80K views going up around 1-5K an hour. What it might be is your video was really good for the audience it got sent to, but not broad enough for a bigger set of viewership. What I could personally recommend to try is. Analyze why that video had such a good retention, recreate it, and make it a little more broad for whatever the people in your niche like.

The thing that worked best for me was giving my videos a small boost on third party tools specifically designed for this (my favorite is to use a bit of Famester). This caused my Shorts to spread literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.
