Lowering signing on fee massively saves a fortune. Big names can command upwards of 8M, you can bring that down to 1-2 million saving lots of cash each contract. Even the players wanting, say 3 million can be taken down to 250k-300k

The last tip works but needs some time to be setup. Upgrade the youth facilities and take charge of the hiring of youth coaches, then those youngsters will develop nicely.

1. Optional contract extension helps reduce # of contracts signed. e.g. 18 YO kid. 5 year contract, + 1/2 extension. Sell before 30 years old, you only had to sign 2 contracts. 2. Bosman transfer valuable players and then sell them again. Be careful with signing bonuses, wages, etc. so they don't exceed the person's value. Set a release clause around the value to help reduce their salary amount. You generally need to carry them for a year so try loaning them out. Then you can sell them next year. (You need to keep budget to offer contracts on Jan 1.) 3. Don't renew staff contracts if you can replace them. 95% of the time they do not leave & keep the same salary but no contract. If they do, worse case you have to replace them with cheaper staff. 4. Become a pimp. Loan players that pays you more than their salary and bonuses.

On fm23 I took over Birmingham in the vanarama premier and they were in financial ruin. Checked the clauses and Bellingham was still at Dortmund, sold the clause and had £10m in the bank 😃 helped me build a team to destroy the league, only lost once.

I'll never forget how I bought Malang Sarr in my Sunderland save for, like, 3 million pounds. Together with Ousmanne Diomande those guys helped me win Premiere League title and then I sold Malang for 60 million pounds to Arsenal. Of course, that would never have happened at Chelsea.

Serious question I have FM2024 touch and I’ve tried playing low foreign leagues and I used the boost bank balance once with another team but I keep getting sacked as the finances are too tight is there anyway to use this boost again or use the editor on the full version and use the save on the touch version?

Keep an eye on transfer clauses tied to appearances for your club. If you’re planning on selling a player and don’t have to play him, make sure you don’t play him in the game that will trigger a payment. For example, I was finally able to sell Donny Van de Beek in mid December effective January 1st. I had been playing him in cup games and as a substitute to keep other players fresh but if he played 1 more game it would’ve triggered a £1.1 million pound payment to Ajax. Hmmmm……£1.1 million for a 15 minute cameo? Or send him to the reserves to make sure I didn’t forget and accidentally play him? Not a tough decision

I just started with FM24 and having a blast so far. Lots of great tips here (thanks for that, and thumbs up!) HOWEVER, I don't get to select "End of Season" for ANY of my players who are listed to leave at the end of the current season; the drop-down only has the options "None Selected" and "Immediate" with the current date. Only for a player whose contract ends somewhere in 2025 I could see an option "End of Season"... does anyone know what's going on there? Are there any specific club-specific or league-specific things going on perhaps that I didn't see?

Just add sign young player say for £1m then loan him out for a fee and have wages covered then he gets game time. My rule is to try and recoup the trans fee in 2-3 years then sell. If he hasnt developed well at least i have covered most of my outlay.

The money doesn’t go into your transfer fund, it’s added to your overall balance sheet. But from there it could help “buy” staff, facility upgrades and other things.

Offering a contract that starts at the end of the season is a huge risk if the original contract has a release clause as teams will pay the low release clause that was in the original contract and there's nothing you can do about it.

Whilst every year we have changes to the best wonderkids in the game etc, tips videos are different. Most FM tips from five years back would still apply in this version of the game, it's not really a game that changes that much. There are some things in this vid that are different to previous years and some tips that remain the same. The nature of FM + KZbin mean that any vids from previous years will now no longer be watched, so we update our tips each year for new players, but also for the vast majority of the FM community who wouldn't have seen last years vid
