Not really If you don't make enough money to invest then simply put, you can not invest. If you keep on keeping money, what exaxtly are you investing if you're on such a low income?

Also pay yourself first. Save and invest at least 10% of what you make. If you can't live on 90% of what you make then you are doing something wrong. Live below your means.

Instead of side hustles I just do overtime. One day of OT every other week adds about $5000/year to my portfolio, so over 5 years that was an extra $25k on top of what I'm saving.

Thanks for making a video on this topic. Like many people, I’m considered low income. I’m confident it won’t always be this way but it’s still nice to know there’s hope. I’m already doing most of the steps that we’re mentioned. I just have to start investing. I’m 31 years old so I still have time on my side. I don’t want to make the same financial mistakes my mother made and I feel like I’m on the right track to a better future 👍🏾

I have made so many mistakes. I am 49 and live in a country that is considered third world, but I honestly believe I can bounce back. My brother offered me a place to stay so I will be doing that for the next 3 to 6 months. I have started investing, but I want to increase the portion I invest and so I am learning to be frugal and starting a side hustle. I sold my car which was my biggest debt. I am almost debt free and my goal was to be debt free by my 50th birthday next year. I cancelled the 2 credit cards I have. Learning to spend less. I have built a minimal wardrobe because I no longer see the point of having clothes I am not wearing. Thank you for this video...very encouraging 🙌

Invest in yourself and your education (doesn't have to be college). Read books specific to the job you currently have or job/business you want to have. This will help you to become the top 5%, and later the top 1% in the job you currently hold. Make top people in your department notice you by being the best. Be informative, creative, and resourceful. You will gain a lot of useful information from non fiction books. This will get you promoted. Once promoted, read more books on your new job position and get to top 1% again. You only need to read around 15-20 books to be in top 1%. Good Luck!

15 books is nothing. Most people don’t read even 1 book per year though. “Those who DON’T read are no better off than those who CAN’T read.” There’s no reason someone can’t read one book every week if they’re serious. I gain so much insight from reading 1-2 books every week.

My only issue is with investing. The assumption behind the compounded interest is that it will remain the same every year. But the reality is that this is not true regarding the stock market. More importantly, one must make sure to reduce their losses. This is because if one has to remain on track for its desired return, s/he has to take into account how much gain must offset the loss. For instance, a 10%-loss must be offset by a 11.11%-loss just to break even. So it is important to stress that while investing offers the opportunity to earn greater returns than saving money in a bank or any other financial institutions, it also comes with greater losses. Hence, it is important to have a risk management strategy.

The 10% average yearly return is an average. So if you’re going to have a year with a 0%, on average, you’re going to have a year with 20% return.

Being in any debt is like having a deposit with negative interest. Keeping cash is STILL like that, because of inflation. Even trailing the inflation rate by 1% with conservative investments helps preserve your savings' purchasing power in a meaningful way.

Those who earn lower salary need diligence in their journey to financial independence: Those with lower salary need to start as early as possible to save money and investing Low salary earners need to be frugal but does not need to be boring in the process One way to achieving your goals is to set smart specific goals.. As a low income earner you will have to do more careful budgeting unlike the high income earners

I don’t have a big salary. Not even close. But i’m good with money. My job gives 0,19 per km for driving from my home to my job. Most working man there drive a nice car but i drive a 2012 prius for 3 years now ( it was my fathers car) and drive it eco and always the speedlimit. It’s 20 km to my work so 40 km a day. 0.19 cent per km. Last year i bought my self a big old ugly cheap house. I stripped and rebuild it myself with some family ( no company used) i made a good profit. We not live big don’t going to restaurants and hotels or weekend trips every week or month also not use the car when we don’t have to. With grocery’s we looking for the deals and don’t but things if we don’t really need it. Saving all the money what we didn’t use that month in a bank account we don’t use.. and here you go. Live that way for 10 years and your good.
