Following are some things which helped me clear my skin: 1- Avoid Sodium Lauryl Sultafe(SLS/SLES) in your cleansers. Its in 80% of cleansers and its pretty harsh on your skin. Leaves a film on your face that can clog pores. 2- Google pore clogging ingredients in your skincare products such as 'Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, various alcohols' etc. 3- Skipping morning cleansing but keeping my pillows clean for that ofcourse. 4- Keeping the gylcemic load under 100 and saturated fats under 15 grams per day. (google for more info) 5- Try to use chemical exfoliants instead of physical scrubs. 6- Drink plenty of water aswell. 7- Dont stress about it, more stress more sebum production. More clogged pores, more acne. 8- Always wash your face after hitting gym or working out. 9- Please dont put any DIY masks on your face, dont trust everything you see on internet. Good luck, sun always shines after darkness. Had the most terrible skin possible almost 7 months ago, now I'm entirely blemish free.

I disagree with Number 1. SLS is not a good chemical but when used with hot water, it does an excellent job at cleaning the face. Have to use hot water in the shower though. I would probably credit standard shampoo/soap with SLS and hot shower water for my near perfect skin. I'm over 35.

The “don’t touch your face” tip is one of the less important ones when it comes to acne. As long as you clean your face regularly (twice a day, once at minimum) and wash your hands regularly it’s fine.

The most important tip: Remember skin care isn’t a one-size fits all. Sometimes these tips work faster for others. That being said they might not even work at all, but be patient before switching things up. At least 2 weeks to a few months depending on how you react to certain products.

If you guys have acne I suggest using Curology! I struggled with acne so bad I even had to go on accutane for 8months and it still didn’t work 100%. But once I started using curology it helped so much. The only downside is that it is a little expensive. It’s about $60 every 2 months but it is worth it.
