Was ur home an apartment or private house? I ask because for apartments, they just go to the next unit next door to you. So they aren't really gone. There's a possibility they'll come back. Private homes, they have nowhere else to go. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Simple, natural type answers at less cost called vinegar, baking soda, or bleach and water spray. Do vaccum that might be helpful. Bed bugs can drop from ceiling from tuss- attic areas. These creatures are not easy to destroy as constant cleaning and bug deturant solutions need to occur. It does not indicate that you are dirty.

Tell you what... homeade mixture works best. My favorite, in a sprayer bottle add about one Tablespoonful of baking soda as this dehydrates bugs. Next, add some type of mint wither leaves ir essential oil, add cloves, any other things you have as lavendar, etc. Can heat water and steep all these things, cool and then put in the sprayer bottle. Kills them. Can still spray rubbing alcohol if you want that is at least 91% proof. Vacuum alot And put linen and pillows into the dryer daily. Make sure to wrap mattress and boxspring With thick plastic and tape to seal. Works!

After watching this video, it seems to me that this might work but only to the degree of how diligent and thorough the person is using this system. In my two episodes of bed bug infestation, HEAT is the only thing that actually works. I would also lean toward diatomaceous earth sprinkled all over, knowing that it dehydrates and kills them eventually (along with other soft bodied insects like aphids). And I’ve read that baking soda does the same thing, which you can sprinkle directly on the bed, your sheets, your floors because it’s completely harmless to people. In talking to an old timer from bygone era, how bed bugs were dealt with in home infestations back in the day (talking The Great Depression, Dust Bowl), a large metal pot or bowl or tub was brought into the house, a layer of dirt was put in the bottom, a very small fire was built in the tub, and sulphur was burned in the fire. The house or room was shut up and the FUMES killed the bugs. Stayed out of the place for a day, then cleaned. A poor man’s fumigation system.

Can't vouch for Harris as I have never tried it but I can verify that spraying Transport works perfectly. I did 3 treatments but am convinced that only 1 was actually necessary. Don't waste your time on using heat treatments. I did 3 heat treatments and they came back every time. I sprayed Transport and haven't had a single bed bug in years.

Remove your pillow cases and linen. Wash and dry hot. Clorox clean-up + bleach spray kills the ones you can see on the seams of your box spring. Diatomaceous earth is a safe all natural type of sand you can buy at the gardening section of Home Depot. It's a fine powder you can use around your house. They crawl over it, sticks to their bodies and the powder cuts through their exo-skeleton, and it dehydrates them to death. Place four Tupperware containers underneath the legs of your bed and fill them half way with the sand creating a sort of moat. When they try crawling up the legs they fall in, roll in the sand and die. Lastly look up how to make a CO2 trap on KZbin. Basically uses bakers yeast and warm sugar water to produce CO2. They are attracted to the CO2 you release when you breath out. It's the only way to bait them. Guaranteed to work if you follow the steps.

and for the sake of your sleep, if you don't got them yet but suspect your condo complex might or your building/ house property had history of it, get anything I mentioned that you're most comfortable working with, and apply to prevent. DO NOT AIR OUT the space after spraying down regardless of whether spraying to prevent or to eliminate. Because you want to introduce the lavender to the air space in order for everything that the indoor air floats through, Be pickled in lavender scent for best result in protection and prevention. Don't forget to set your alarm clocks and timers for schools jobs appointments so you don't miss those because you might have a long project ahead of you when dealing with eliminating bed bugs.

4 years ago I had a bad case of bed bugs. I left the house to visit a family member so I was home for 2 days. When I came back the room was really really cold because I accidentally left the window opened. We found them dead on our mattress and after cleaning thoroughly never saw them again. In conclusion. Get your room or house really really cold and they will leave!

Guys I got rid of my infestation with kerosene only. I had a lot of them, but the good thing was that they were all localised in two places- the sofas in the sitting room and the curtains in the main room. So we washed and replaced the curtains quickly and used sprayed kerosene in all the crevices of the sofas, top to bottom. The kerosene cost ₦400(>$1 US). Spraying kerosene is the best and most affordable way to control them. Buy about 1.5L of kerosene and put into a spray bottle, and spray it. Note: It's best to take the chairs/beds outside to spray them so you don't inhale the fumes. Good luck guys.

Use Malathion Insect spray. In a heavy-duty spray bottle, fill it with 50% insect spray and 50% water, it gets the job done. It does have a smell so just make sure the windows are open for it to air out as you spray, the end result will be worth it. P.S I know some people don't want to use chemicals but hey at the end of the day you get a peace of mind and sleep.

Some humor for those fighting these little turds: when i was dealing with my infestation, my friend and i came up with this running joke that always lightened the mood for me. I told her that i saw a close up pic of a BB and it had big bulgy eyes, which i found quirky and funny. I told her about it, and she said “bug eyez”. Lmao. And sometimes would text me this “👀👀👀👀”. 😂😂. Every now and then, she would text me those out of the blue and i would chuckle. lol If you are in the right place in your journey of fighting these, you might find that humorous. I hope...

@@chefboyrdumbass1525 I had success with malathion. I was absolutely infested, bed bugs fucking everywhere. I got fed up and researched heavily for a couple days and what I found was there's three ways to kill them AND their eggs: 1 - Heat (particularly steam) 2 - Alcohol ( It kills the bastards and the eggs; load up a spray bottle and fuck them up) 3 - Banned pesticides for indoor use (malathion is what I used and it killed on fucking contact). I didn't have to throw all of my stuff out and waste hundreds of dollars on an exterminator. Just be very careful if you go the malathion way, the shits super toxic if you or your pets ingest it and it smells like kerosene death.

Hi Keirstin, We followed up with the entomologist for the product and there is no data to support the range of effectiveness bed bug traps would attract a bed bug from another space However, apartments, condos or duplexes that bump up against one another have a higher risk of bed bugs to cross over but this is due to the fact that they actually travel in the walls on electrical cords. Hope this information was beneficial!
