I’m a barber and ive only seen 3 things that work. 1. When you shower wet your hair thoroughly, Take a handful of Epsom Salt and put it on your head and massage the salt into your scalp GENTLY careful not to get into your eyes. Wet your hair again and shampoo throughly . 2. Do NOT use the same shampoo for over 2 or 3 weeks, SWITCH out to a different shampoo often. Your scalp becomes immune to the same shampoo over time. 3. DO NOT touch your scalp with your fingernails, fingernails carry bacteria underneath them and can infect your scalp when scratching.
