Too much of it is actually very ugly to look at. I had a large patch of this growing in my yard and really didn't mind it a first . But it started to take over the one side of my back yard and gave the yard a really horrible swamp look that I didn't like. So it had to go.

It can choke up other plants. Plants that may give you fruits or veggies. A weed is a weed, a pest, no matter how pretty it looks.
