How to get rid of drone for 50 dollars!

This is great to hear. Ever since I put a Magnaflow on my 4runner it has a ton of drone at 1500 RPMs and its been annoying as crap. I just got my measurement for a Jpipe to cancel out the appropriate hertz and will be adding the jpipe next week. Can't wait to hear the difference.

@@Quantummmm yes it worked really well. But I was a bit surprised with how much the overall sound was decreased. I then decided to cut 5 inches off of the j pipe, took it to an exhaust shop so they could expand 4 inches of the end piece so it could fit over the connected part of the j pipe hence making it adjustable. Then from trial and error of testing the sound at different lengths I found the perfect spot. Now it's absolutely perfect for what I was looking for.

The closer you can weld it to the headers the better it will work. Longer tube eliminates more drone across more rpms

Hey everyone, I'm a total noob, how exactly do they measure for a j pipe? Do I have to tell them the speed and rpm I get drone at? Does that figure into the measurements?

I disagree with the statement "the longer the pipe the less drone". The channels "Alex Cieplutch" and "Lawrence LT Tolman" have good videos about it with charts depending on your engine's number of cylinders and what rpm you wanna eliminate drone at. Doubling the lengths on their charts could maybe widen the range of RPMs to eliminate drone at, but if you want a better chance of getting best results, I'd check those out.
