Well wait a minute I have a question I think I’ve been growing my hair for like shit maybe 2 years or so and I never had a trim done I’ve never noticed split ends and I get my hair braided all kinds of styles usually straight backs I never use heat I never use chemicals to straighten it I don’t use hair dye I frequently and daily use a hair lotion for moisture and I have a health food diet. Ruthless Bundy Rake method.... interlock your fingers and run it back and forth over hair like a madman..... to prevent frizz put oil on your hands right before raking

DevAnimate since my hair shoulder length i don’t rake but if I did I would grab a thin oil like cocoa butter oil and make an extremely thin layer throughout my hand. (To prevent friction) Then I would go in however I usually do. (Curling Styler then curling gel) If you have type 4 hair like me and bril what I recommend is that you only go in on your head like that when you refreshing your hair... on the wash days you should probably just go in with no oil and just do a finger coiling method (If your hair is long enough) Once you hair is long enough for finger coils you’re golden bro.

Shedding is normal! And remember, hair grows from the scalp .. everything else we do is to retain length (combing/picking doesn’t impact growth, it impacts retention)
