I have had my HA filler in tear trough for 8 years now. It’s still there. The first year it was more noticeable but it never really went away. Recommend, but only if you have a very experienced doctor who can do very precise placement with blunt cannula.

I didn't have any hollows till last year when I reached 55. Now I can see hollows under my eyes, especially left eye, and it really affects me, as I don't feel I look nice any more. I'm too scared for surgery or anything like that as I'm in the UK. Not many have cosmetic surgery here.

Under eyelid, fillers are not for everyone there are of course some better solutions that are long lasting, but with a lot of my patients who have gotten under eyelid fillers, I’ve seen great results long-term for many of them again in some cases fat grafting under the eyes is a better solution or some form of surgery.

I'm not injecting anything especially near my eyes!!! I'm only interested in natural methods of correcting this problem. I used sun screen and retinol cream. Eat lots of fruit like blueberries or strawberries

I had (fat) bags under my eyes in my baby pictures. I finally went for a couple of consults and I was scared to proceed because the first consult said "fat repositioning" and the 2nd consult said "absolutely not fat repositioning, but fat *removal* ." How am I supposed to know (and trust) which procedure is correct??

Excellent question! I prefer to remove protruding fat bags and the actually inject fat obtained from your abdomen, hip or inner thigh and reinject this autogenous fat into lower eyelid hollows in order to create a smooth contour between your lower eyelid margin and your cheek. I have found in most cases when I transpose ( or transfer) protruding fat there is not enough fat to fill in the depressions
