Today I got my chance to play at a higher level. I’m 13 and and just played in a U16 tournament with the top ranked teams in my division. We won 13-1 and I scored from midfield with a chip from outside the box. I feel like I impressed the coach of the other team. I have big dreams and this video really helped me realize how I can accomplish these dreams.

Really good information, just on college showcase tournament make sure you have good grades.. I’m a club coach for a B01 team, we’re currently rank 3rd in Cal South, when we play “college showcases” I expect my players to have GPA above 3.00 or they will not be playing the tournament. Remember that college coaches are looking for complete players, skills & brains.

There are many players that didn't play on a college team and ended up getting to the pro level. There isn't really an age to be scouted. You want to be actively getting on the best team you can at any age and there are scouts for all age groups.

I’m 12 and live in a small town I play for the whitecaps academy centre right now. I had a chance to get scouted when I was maybe 10 but I completely blew it because I was 10 playing with 13 year old 14 year old. So of course I wasn’t as good and they picked on me because I was younger and not as good and I had a ton of pressure.

Yesterday, I got to train with my under 18s team and the 1st team for my club, I am only 13 and ( believe it or not ) this is only my first (proper) season of Football as a goalkeeper and I have been told by many coaches in my area; they have never seen a young goalkeeper be so determined to reach their dreams and overall, be good as good for my age. I live in Australia, I am playing for my college team and club team, And I realise that of course I’m not as good as I think I am. I have a lot of things to learn, and a lot of techniques as well. It may be a long shot to say now but, i think if I continue my reasonably good form, till the day it comes for me to “go up a level” in my career. But I’m unsure about how to reach out more, to bigger pro clubs to become the best I possibly can.

Hi, I really liked this video. There’s a lot of great information. And I’m 14 year old female footballer, and I play for my school’s U-15 team and U-18 team. My main position is a goalkeeper, and I made lots of saves in the U-14 tournaments. And for the U-18 team, my school’s coach made me play as a striker, and I’ve scored 9 goals in 12 games. My team’s goalkeeper isn’t really that good, i don’t know why my coach put me in as striker. But oh well. Next year’s summer, I’m going to Nike football camp, and I might try out for clubs there to see if I can make it.

Hey Simply Soccer and Perfect Soccer! I made it all the way thru the video!!! I am 5"7, a right winger, and 17 years old. Right now I play MSPSP soccer (Premier not Premier Elite MRL) in an alright team. I am near many fantastic MRL teams including one that went to the semi finals of the National Youth Soccer League and even an USDA Academy team. I am easily the fastest person on the pitch and I work extremely hard to track back and help out my team. My problems are that my dribbling isn't up there at all, I dont really have that type of dribbling that gets thru defenders, I usually beat them with pace. My first touch is ok but not at the point where I can beat a defender just on a first touch. No matter how much I try practicing on dribbling, I end up dribbling way to much and I lose speed and touch, or I touch the ball way too little and it is not in the position I want it to be. I think a contributing factor is that when under pressure (basically during a game) I am not calm and I tend to think about what I do when I have too much time on my hands in which it doesn't work out im my favor. I practice every day, and I got to the gym 3 times a week. It's very frustrating and I have tryouts for those teams I mentioned in 3 weeks and open practices a few days before. I really want to join them! Please, can you help me with this problem?
