In this video, we are discussing Social Security, SSDI and SSI checks and how some beneficiary can get both of these checks at the same time. As it pertains to Social Security benefits, this is called concurrent claims, it is when a beneficiary gets checks from a couple different programs simultaneously. This is something that some beneficiaries can get, not everyone but some lower income Social Security beneficiaries can also get SSI, supplemental security income benefits along with their regular Social Security benefits checks. Here in this video we are specifically focusing on concurrent claims out of the Social Security administration and who may be eligible to receive Social Security, SSDI or SSI at the same time. New Mexico is giving 500 and 1000 dollar direct deposit for the people who applied for a state tax refund. PIT - Personal Income Tax refiund. There is still time to apply fot the PIT refund you have to do first.

@audiehust1712 New Mexico is giving 500 (single people) and 1000 (families) direct deposits in June if the persons had already gotten their annual state tax refund. (Personal ncome Tax or PIT). I would have to tell you to google it because that is what I would have to do. There are some channel creators keeping everyone up to date on this.

My husband get retirement $353 and ssi. Before retirement he was getting SSI $943. Here’s the catch. They send him two checks. Both Checks together equal to $943. There is no extra money. They should have let him keep getting SSI on the first.

Hi Matt sorry I'm late I been busy I know it's no excuse but I haven't got you now I guess I get SSI I get SSDI disability and I get widow's pension from my dad's husband so yes I get three of them and it comes to a little over $900 that's all that's why I get the SSI. In Oklahoma it's called an offset

Hi Matt I do know when people turn 62 or turning that age. They are making everyone apply for other benefits to see what they qualify for? Then after that they might be sending you two separate checks which amount to the same income per Month. Nothing more or nothing less. I honestly think it's a waste of time. Have to be on SSI first before 62 and then after 62 one can file for concurrent SS benefits. Might not still qualify if you are topped out on SSI. Or have a spouse on the system already.

I get less than $1000. Because I was so sick in my period of time that I was awarded my check. It sucks because I worked my whole adult life, Nursing, and two other jobs at the same time.
