I truly appreciate you sharing the process of applying the white paint over the collage. I’ve seen so many demos where this application process is left out. Your video taught me how you actually “push back” the collage pieces “in action“, therefore creating depth. I learned so much and I will be watching this lesson over many times. Thank you!

I have a tip to not have your collage work wrinkle. I always put it in a bath of water first, just for a short while - in and out, depending on the thickness of the paper, than put it on a towel so it doesnt drip anymore and than put it on the substrate which is glued in. The collage paper now does not absorb water from the glue and stays nice and tight and doesnt wrinkle. Does not work with tissue paper, that is too thin but hey; tissue paper is supposed to wrinkle. Gives that beautiful texture!

I bought some Nat Geo mags from 2009, today. I sprayed Oomph on the pages and a bit even got on the front page and it even dissolved part of that. I use Oomph to remove stickers etc, it works amazingly and readily available from supermarkets like Coles, Woolworth etc. 😁🤗

So helpful! I love brown! What brand of gel medium are you using that is in a tube not a jar? Seems so much easier to apply that way with the silicone shaper!

Lydia, when you are using your stencils to add texture, are you using just paint or some other medium to get the depth that you get from your stencil application?

I like to use gesso or gesso mixed with paint to get some texture

Bonjour… je n’arrive plus à regarder vos vidéos en Français par la traduction automatique en choisissant Français. Pouvez vous régler cela car vos 😢réglages sont bloquées sur ANGLAIS et impossible de choisir le Français car rien ne s’affiche. Merci d’avance. Car je vous suis régulièrement et là je ne peux plus avoir les sous titres en Français😢😢😢😢😢😢

Je n'ai rien changé dans les vidéos. Si c'était auparavant joué avec des sous-titres français, alors je ne sais pas pourquoi ça ne marche plus. Je ne trouve rien dans les paramètres. Je suis désolé
