I love that your best ever experiences are still the ones when you backpacked and you didn't have much money. It's the same for me and my fiance, the best times were when we were totally broke but we were sooo happy and we explored different places and had such a great time!

Credit Card tip... Our most popular video ($48,000 Singapore Airline Flight in Suite Class) 100% paid for with frequent flyer points from our credit cards! It might help that I used to race cars professionally and ran a good part of our team through the cards for points :) Anyway...there are advantages to using the cards but pay the bills so you don't run up balances.

love this video! you two should definitely look into travel credit cards in australia! maybe even airline specific credit cards like virgin australia! that way you get points and many of them don't charge a fee for foreign transactions. make some points off the money you're spending anyway. we've got some great ones in the states and our purchases end up coming back to us from all the points we rack up that go toward free airfare and hotel stays!
