Great video, but I disagree with your advice on Start-Up Drafts. You SHOULD use the inverse order of the Veteran Only start-up draft to run your Rookie Only start-up draft. Both drafts should also be 3rd Round Reversal and Snake. You want this because those picking early have such a HUGE advantage starting off with the elite (and young) QB. The QB run starts immediately in a SF Dynasty league. If you are at the back end of that run, you already start behind the 8-ball. QB is the most important position in Dynasty SF. I have done a statistical analysis and this sort of start-up format allows for the most even playing field between the 12 draft slots.

So I've actually accepted an invite to join my buddy's dynasty league tonight. It's on sleeper. I will pick at 2 and 8 in round one. So I'm excited to build the team back up. I won the championship in the redraft league that my other buddy ran.

We allow trading draft picks up to 3 seasons so for example 24/25/26 currently but we do force payment on league dues for the years draft pick your trading so if it’s orphaned after trading away picks then we can find a new manager and offer reduced or no dues for the first season etc.

Did a startup last summer where I suggested maxPF to the commish and was blown off because he and the rest of the league mates are more casual and it was foreign to them. Tanking faithfully was also not enforced and I ended up getting the 1.05 rather than the 1.02 if we did maxPf in a 1QB. Actually losing sleep seeing Nabers go up and up rankings 😭

Starting up a new 12 team bestball dynasty with some friends this year. We are all currently in other dynasty leagues so we know the landscape but none of us have played bestball before. Any recs on settings and specifically starter and bench sizes for bestball dynasty?

For BB i’d say bigger starting lineups and fun implementations like big play bonuses keep the game very fun

The best thing to do about tanking, is best ball. I'm in a lineup league where it's just record, a lineup league where it's max points, and my league I started this past off-season which is best ball. My opinion... best ball is 100% superior. Not only my preferred format, but shiesty team management is eliminated. Being a contender in best ball can net you some great deals too, as teams can be desperate to rid themselves of players scoring points...
