How do you draft the following year? You can’t add more roster spots. So do you not keep 100% of the roster from previous year?

Yeah so you do keep your entire roster every year and the draft each off-season is the rookie draft of incoming rookies. You do have to cut players to make room for those rookies if you’re at the roster max, but if you don’t have any picks or are below the roster max, then you do keep 100% of your roster.

With the 1.02, I’m taking either Caleb or MHJ, whoever 1.01 doesn’t pick. And with the 1.05, more than likely that’s a WR, but it could be Maye or Daniels.

Can you make a video on how to convert a re-draft league into a dynasty league on yahoo.

I wouldn’t consider it a conversion, it’s basically starting a whole new league. You’d do the startup draft to start the dynasty league and then you’ll have to just keep the rosters year over year. As far as I know, yahoo doesn’t have dynasty capability, so you’d need to have some sort of bookkeeping during the off-season for rosters and draft picks and keep that updated.

What happens when a player is done with a contract. Do you keep them even if they go to a different NFL team?

Yep! No matter what happens in the NFL, you keep the player on your roster. When Tyreek got traded last year, the person who has Tyreek in dynasty had to figure out how that changed his value, if it did at all.

Oh I definitely do, they’re just not in the camera haha. I have a framed picture from SB40 above my other desk, a metal Steelers logo leaning on my shelving unit, a signed Steelers football from Martavis Bryant on that shelving unit, and then my hat is hanging on a shelf that may or may not be in the camera shot in the top right corner haha

This is literally copy/pasted from a Trade Addicts league that I'm in that I think nicely outlines rules for a league: **** START HERE **** Buy in for the league is $42 - League fee due by 4/1 every year $6 towards site fee Payouts: $108 - will go to the charity of the winner's choice $195 - 1st place $89 - 2nd place $42 - 3rd place This is a 12 team league split into 2 divisions. Each team will have 32 active man rosters, 4 Taxi Squad spots, and 2 IR spots. Each week every team will start 10 players. 1 QB, 1 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE, 1 Superflex, 5 Flex. Please check the "League Scoring" link for scoring. On the top menu go Reports>Rules>League Scoring Players with less than 3 years NFL experience can be placed on the taxi squad. Whether drafted or added through waivers a player must first be on the active roster and then demoted to the taxi squad. Once a player is promoted to the active roster he cannot be demoted back to the taxi squad. Only players designated with the IR tag in the NFL can be placed in the IR spots. If a player is taken off of the IR in the NFL he must be removed from your IR spot. Violation of this rule will prevent you from setting a weekly lineup. 6 teams will make the playoffs. The 5 highest records make it in and then the team with the highest points for, not already in the playoffs, will take the 6th spot. Record is determined by winning percentage then total points for. If those are tied winner will be decided by battle to the death. The loser will be mourned for a short period of time and then replaced. Playoffs will be reseeded every round. The teams that did not make the playoffs, who will now be referred to as "the bad teams", will play in a consolation bracket or "toilet bowl". The winner of the toilet bowl will earn a consolation draft pick at the end of the first round in the upcoming rookie draft. This pick can be traded. Waivers will be run by free agent auction bidding (FAAB). Each team starts the season with $200. Bids will be processed Wednesday morning at 5 am. The team who bids highest on a player is awarded him. There is a minimum bid of $1. If two teams bid the same amount then the player will go to the team who entered the bid first. After the waiver run, until kickoff of a players game, first come, first serve free agent pickups are allowed for a cost of $2. The final waivers will be the week after the Super Bowl. After that waiver run MFL will roll over to the next year and waivers will start again after the rookie draft. FAAB does not carry over from year to year. Trading is a very large part of dynasty and is greatly encouraged. You will be able to trade your players as well as your rookie draft picks up to 2 years in the future. All trades go through immediately with no need for approval. If you perform a trade that gives you an invalid roster you must drop players until you have the maximum amount of players, otherwise you will not be able to set a lineup. Trading after a player has played in their game is now allowed. The only caveat being that if any player involved in a trade has already played their game then no players in that trade can be started for the remainder of the week. It does not matter if the GM started that player or not, if the players game has passed then this rule applies. As stated before trading is a big part of this game so offer trades and offer them often. Communication is a large part of trading so try texting/messaging the owner before you offer or take advantage of the comments section of the trade page. Trade offers are valid for 7 days. If you get no communication from the receiving owner after those 7 days please contact the commissioner. The penalties for allowing offers to expire are as follows: 1st expired offer - its fine. things happen. people forget. 2nd expired offer - official warning. 3rd expired offer - i will reserve the right to replace you. The draft order for the rookie draft will be decided by reverse record order for non playoff teams and opposite order of playoff finish for the good teams. Rookie drafts will be 5 rounds long (non snaking) and will include incoming rookies and free agents on the waiver wire. During the draft rosters will be expanded to 37 spots. A designated cut down date will be decided for teams to drop back down to the 32 max roster spots before the start of the season. No players can be in the IR spot when the rookie draft begins. If there is a team that needs to be replaced, existing GMs will have the choice of entering their roster into a 2nd chance dispersal. If there is 1 open team then the new GM is not forced to join the dispersal. If there are multiple open teams then the new GMs must join. Teams entering the dispersal will be kept secret until the time of the dispersal. Teams cannot participate in consecutive dispersals. After the post is loaded onto the message board, GMs have 7 days to answer whether they want to join or not. If they do not answer then it will be assumed they do not want to join. Tanking and collusion will not be tolerated. Owners are expected to set a reasonable line up every week with no injured or bye week players, with exception to last minute inactives that an owner might miss (some of us have lives or children). All trades are processed immediately and not all trades are good trades but if a trade is made that is clearly collusion (Antonio Brown for a 4th round rookie pick) then the trade will be undone and owners will be punished and publicly ridiculed. Using fantasy football assets as means of a bet is considered collusion and is not allowed. The Trade Addicts leagues run on a strict "Don't Be a Dick" policy. These leagues are mostly for fun so lets keep it lighthearted and happy. The commissioner will oversee all league matters and will have final word over all matters that are deemed "for the good of the league". After each season there will be a thread created to discuss any changes suggested for the league. League rule changes will be voted on by the owners with majority ruling. Polls ending in a tie do not pass. **** END ****
