When Migrating from an existing Home Assistant Instance to the Home Assistant Green, please make sure you update both servers to the latest version and have them both on the same version of Home Assistant. moreover, migrations can always go south and break, so keep you "old" Home Assistant instance and backfile on hand for several days even after the migration.

Hi there, good video. I moved into a house with Insteon light switches but have no way to control them as the previous owner left me with no info. Can Home Assistant Green detect my switches and help me control the "smart" lighting system that I have? Thanks for any help you can offer.

with a lot of smart switches, you can reset them by turning on and off 3 times or more and it may appear for re-pairing. mainly guessing here
