Good luck sanding caulked walls down the road. Frog tape has glue added to the tape edges which can simply be activated with water. For added assurance you can seal a tape edge with whatever paint/color is underneath the tape line.

Caulking method requires you to pull tape before caulking dries. He also pulled tape while paint was wet… pay attention and you’ll see it.

You could also just do a base layer of paint to prevent bleeding

@@pat6703 The color that the tape is covering is the Base paint. After applying the tape, then paint over the tape at the cut line with the 'Base' color so it makes a seal (bleeds under the tape). Then paint with the other color.

That's great if you have the undying paint on hand or you'd have to got a color match and all that but great tip if the paint is on hand thanks

Use fogg tape instead and push corners down with a blunt golf tee

you didn't watch the whole thing. He said most projects need at least a second coat of paint, so you can't remove it while it's still wet
