Holy hell is the lighting influencing the color of these plants?

Hi. I just ordered my first Butterwort. It’s a Pinguicula jaumavensis. Can I grow in terracotta and can I use white sand from dollar tree or does it need to be something more special. If all the videos I watched you have the most knowledge. That’s why I’m picking on you lololol. Any information you can give me would be so appreciated. Take care💐🌱💕

The new grow lights have normal white light instead of the old purple type. They're better for plants and they look much better.

Reflector 192 is a good light. It deserves the price. but i love their Pro II 320 more. I think it is much better than reflector 192. After all, i paid more for this light. Lol

I love mine, I had ordered 3 and it was just too hot and a couple didn’t make it but I still have my 1st one & 1 from my order.... what kind of soil mix do you use.
@BradsGreenhouse6 жыл бұрын
I use a 1:1 peat moss and perlite mix. I use to add a bit of Dolomite lime sand to up the ph but found it was necessary. I love it when the media packed down a bit after a few months so it doesn’t so it doesn’t move around when watering 💦

I’m using the Yescom red blue orange and white LED panels and those are doing great. Also cool night temperatures make a huge difference in coloration. If you can get down to 60 or so you’ll be amazed. I had the same experience with Nepenthes under blue-and-white LED panels. But my Heliamphora ‘Cherry Top’ is brilliant now! jaumavensis - how-ma-VEN-sis (from Jaumave, Mexico) ehlersiae - AY-lerz-ee-ee (named after someone named Ehlers) laueana - lau-ee-ANN-a (named after Alfred Lau, who discovered them).

I just got a Yescom red/blue/orange/white. Is it still doing well for you, in terms of ping growth? I already have two Yescom white panels, but I thought I'd give the multicolor Yescom a try.
@sazji2 жыл бұрын
@@peterphan227 Yeah it’s doing fine but it’s not my favorite really. I’ve been using Florawave lights and they really made my plants take off. I also love the light they cast - a much more people-friendly light.

Gamer Patriot I have the Mars Hydro glasses and a buddy that works in film gave me a booklet of translucent colours lenses, they just look like translucent colours plastic, in this case both the glasses and the lenses are a green colour
