Thank you for the info and u have a soft quiet voice that I love especially when I am tuned in to anything gardening. It is almost holy and serene to work with plants. Thank u

Great video. I didn't catch... do we need to keep them in direct sunlight to germinate? Or only after they have started growing? Thank you ^_^

I realize this video is a few years old, just wanted to come to say, those little mesh bags with the satin ribbon drawstring are amazing for putting around the seed pods as they grow! Then when it splits open all the seeds are contained inside the mesh bag! I just had my very 1st hoya seed pod burst 2 days ago! Everything neatly contained in the baggie! Also, hoya seeds will keep up to 1 month, although with each day more diminished results. You can also store the seeds and if done correctly, the seeds can last up to 2 years!!! Just fyi😊 i am curious if any of the seeds you sowed in the video's sprouted for you???

What if i don't like to observe the weather app for a whole year ? May it show me the typical weather course, over the last 50 years or so, for that region, as a graph, too ?

This can get MUCH bigger. Fatter taller canes, 4-5’. Gatton Sunray. It was bred by the founder of Colman’s mustard in England. It’s a super old hybrid.

I believe I will want to buy from you, because you are very detailed with the plants, but I'm still not sure if I'm still not comfortable trying to grow them, the bog is great for the venus fly traps, but not good at all with the pitcher plants

Jesus died for you! He gave up His life to save you from your sins; every lie you’ve ever told, every hateful thought you had, every evil thing you have done. He took it upon Himself so you can repent. Pray to God. Turn from your sins and trust Him

I’ve been growing the same large dendrobium orchid (didn’t know it was called Noble but looks like it from photos) since 1980. I’ve had it get too big and divided it or cut back to a small one in the pot from time to time. I live in Kansas so we’re too dry to not water anytime of the year. When I’ve summered it outside under a tree are the years it has bloomed profusely. It gets hit my the garden sprinklers a couple times a week and I spray it when watering pots. Its always has had dark green healthy looking stalks. In the winter I mist it several days a week, run water through the roots once a week and have a tray of gravel below it that I keep water in. I wish I could share a photo, its a stunning plant. I do stake it up, it got to about 4’x3’ in size before my son told me it had to be divided because he wasn't moving it anymore. It was beastly heavy. That said, I’ve had up to 18 bows of blooms between maybe 1.5 - 2.5’ long arching all around it. A gentleman from the orchid society told me not to over force the blooms. Let the plant rest. I gave sections to friends and one to the Sedgwick County Zoo this year. I give it a weak balanced water in fertilizer in the winter in the mist and treat it like the yard plants outside in the spring by putting Gardeners Special slow release fertilizer in about May.

I'm located in Boston. We get all 4 seasons. Mines in full bloom and today it's 34 degrees, I brought them inside. They are in pots. I won't take it back out until it is over 65 degrees.

Almost a decade later, thanks for this video. I took on an orchid from someone that was going to throw it away but it’s still green, and leaves still growing, so I KNEW it wasn’t dead by far! BUT she will NOT bloom again. I was using the ice cube method, and I have transitioned to a more free flow pot method for water. But it still will not bloom. I too, tucked the aerial roots because I just assumed they were supposed to be in soil! I will be removing them today to see if the plant like that better. Hoping for the best.
