I'm having a heck of a time getting a torso. Just a random one found on a chassis or from a player vendor. Much less a plan dropping for me. I finally got all other pieces and had plans for a helmet and left arm all along. Though I have no idea how I got those. Pretty sure I have plans for all pieces now...or almost all. But a torso remains elusive. I'm using an X-01 torso in its place and it looks good if a bit bulky. So I use Matte Black Equalizer limb paint, Scorched on the torso, and the Steel Mill helmet paint. It came together nicely, fairly imposing. The Tricentennial paint also works well paired with Raider Waster legs. But still...i would like a complete matching set or this armor. A torso has to pop up one way or another...one day...

You can indeed find high level armour, I am Level 30 and got Level 50 T-60 power armour legs, can't even use them. In order to use the power frame I need to remove them from the frame before I can hop into it. However I much prefer the look of T51 or the helmet specifically anyway.

Trying to complete my t51 I'm level 34 but I keep finding level 50 t51 power armor. Does it matter which location I go to farm power armor?

ahhh I think it might matter in terms of location. Watoga is a higher level area so they might spawn at max level every time. Use this map and try the lower level areas like the Forest or Ash Heap cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/knrWL4cK2E2HaiXA4jXrMf-970-80.jpg

Sometimes it depends on the region you find it in, but watoga area should spawn higher level PA

I believe 76 does have a system where you can’t repeatedly server hop and loot the same stuff in the same area to an extent. Once you loot a decent amount of stuff in different areas and come back it can be replenished

Don't worry, questions are good! There is a build/playstyle called bloodied. You balance 20% and 80% radiation which allows you to benefit from many buffs like Nerd Rage perk, emergency protocols PA, unyielding armor, adrenal reaction mutation etc. Makes you very strong

You can only use a plan if you haven’t learned it already. Once learned you unlock the ability to craft the part if you have the junk required to craft it. You can toggle show craftable in the bench

I'm terrible with the power armor stuff lol. I accidentally deleted my old Excavator one that some dude gave me a long time ago. I don't remember how he got the parts, just gave me some really good shit. I just recently deleted it by accident which really sucked!. It could carry a lot of weight. However, after finding the T-51 armor set, I made two a leg and arm at level 40 and it still can't carry a lot of weight, it can't even withstand two fusion cores without being overcumbered. It's really been hard right now. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I could use your help big time, please help somebody thank you.

If you want to carry a lot of stuff, it scales with strength stat. Another way is through gear. So usually players will have power armor modded out so that I can carry more, and they sometimes use escalator because it has a bonus carry weight. For non power armor, they use modded backpacks.

Some of them are T-51 pieces, some are T-60 pieces, it's a frankenstein power armor lol. Is that effecting everything or do I need so start over completely? do I need plans to get better stuff for the T-51 or should I just get the Excavator armor instead?

If you really want a bunch of carry weight, I’d for the a full set of excavator power armor. I have a guide for that, you can look up Poxiipro excavator power armor and I think it’ll show up on KZbin. As for the armor level, that does not effect carry weight at all
