Ive always been interested in getting this to work on my Korg. I gave up a few years back. Is the tube the speaker thats making the sound? I just dont understand how the sound comes out.

The tube is connected about the speaker. That sound goes through the tube. Then you shape that sound with your mouth.

I don't understand what exactly you're asking but I use the output to my synth to the input of the talkbox then use my mic to record that audio

I'm sending a mono out to the talkbox. Then I use the tube to talk on the mic. No vocoder is a separate setup. Hope that helps.

The Microkorg does not have this capability. You need a real talkbox pedal to make that sound. You can connect a talkbox to any synthesizer.
