To any new folks to modding, this video does not touch upon load order (likely because the in-game mod manager doesn't have ability to modify load order by default). Load orders are extremely important while modding. Wrong order can cause mods to conflict and override each other causing various problems. I believe there is a mod in the in-game mod manager that adds ability to modify load order. If you are on PC, you can also use BG3MM

My only gripe is it's so hard to find a balance between really good fun and keeping the game challenging. I tried the Dread Overlord warlock sublass, the Mystic class, and the Demon Hunter for a new honour mode run and they are so well put together, genuinely incredible. But I just slugged my way through every encounter, what is a poor Gortash to do when Mystic Gale can paralyse the entire battlefield with a spell DC of 25? Or when Demon Hunter Wyll who crits on a 15+ hits him with THREE actions per turn? If there are any modders out there who want to make an Honour mode+ I would love to give it a try!

The real challange is finding the RIGHT balance of playstyle. Surely hate spending 100 hours to get to max level, BUT mind numinbly boring spend the game OP. I play for the fights. I wish there was a max level mod where everone is at lvl 12 and REALY pushes you to the test. Half the fun was prepping and planing out the fight, although its is null when you can clear a room with an invisable gloom stalker.

It's truly a shame that just because I instaled a mod adding more faces or dyes it makes it impossible for me to get achievements in that campain... There should be a toggle while modding that disable achievements if the mod is considered as a cheat. Not an aesthetic aspect of the game.

As I imagine there isn't a way of determining if a mod is "quality of life" Vs " shotguns". It would rely on a flag or something being set by the creator I suppose and would either have to be managed or policed by Larian every time. Short answer: time and money.
