Your method of caring for your hair is the old fashioned way, and I have to say I love it! To think....I was getting so swept up in the natural hair means defined curls phenomenon, that I forgot the basics. Thanks for showing me. I think I'm going to have fun with this.

Hello there Erica! I just want to say that your videos are very enjoyable based upon how easy and simple it is. I am ah black male, and I've been growing out my hair for 3 years now. Not too long ago, I got cornrows, then taking them out a week later, I picked my hair out and I had a big fluffy fro. Eventually I had to wash it & then I ended up suffering from ultimate shrinkage and ended up infuriated lol. So, I found out that it is impossible to get it as fluffy as it once was even by blow drying it, if don't braid my hair. So do you have any simple hair braiding tutorials? If not could you please make one? If I could learn how to braid my hair then my life would be so much more easier. Thank You.

I'm trying to get afro, I started mines last night. My reasons why I want this is, I want to try something different and I don't want heat in my hair, I'm trying to grow my hair out. I was influenced by a girl I came across on instagram who rock afro. I told myself I will look nice with one and I want to be heat free as well. I love your afro, you really look nice with it and thanks this was really hopefully.
@ericaleshai9 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Your hair will have to get used to no heat, it took mine a while. But once it does, the afro process will be easier. Just give it time :)

what happens when you do it with strait hair? Please tell me!!
@ericaleshai9 жыл бұрын
If you hair texture is straight, it probably won't be able to be able hold the circular shape without it falling. Braiding straight textured hair will give it a little definition, but not enough for an afro. The afro style works best when the hair texture is curly or kinky.
