Nice video. I thought i will do refretting my bass myself with just some tutorial from youtube. But then i saw your video, and it seems very detailed process that require proper tools and skills. Hi, very detailed process and I thank you for this tutorial. I have a question concerning the fret leveling process. Do you adjust the truss rod to make the fretboard perfectly straight BEFORE leveling the frets ? This in an important point of concern, other than that you didn't miss any concern I had. Hi, thank you for your kind words. Yes, it's important to straighten the neck using the truss rod and a straight edge ruler. I usually adjust it so the ruler rocks a bit over the highest frets so I can find them easily. In this specific guitar the neck had a huge over relief so I worked mostly on the first and last frets to further straighten it, but this is not a very common issue and most necks should be worked on as mentioned above.
