Oh man so there's no secret passage way in the rainy day classroom to claim the chest, you need to go to phase 6 if you are level 500+ or more to see what's in the chest.

If you go to the dorm bathing quarters, go through the showers, progress through the doors until the room with the mirrors/sink, you should see a laundromat. Hope this helps :)
