When I was little I wanted to be a witch and invite other witches to my acre of woods and cabin and perform spells to ward off psychotic Christians (don’t ask) and fairies and make offerings to a cat In my little world the fairies were beings of chaos and mischief who would trick you into getting hurt like casting spells on you by leaving you food and other stuff like that

that's literally such a good concept.. you'd have a fairly account posting videos being like "using my human legs to walk since I'm the only REAL Human here💅😍" and then the implication they'd also have other mythical commentary creator counter parts who would make videos about how silly it was

If the sister hates fairies who can this person trust? No one. Just herself :( Imagine her sitting at the table with tears in her eyes: what do I do? I’m a rare green earth fairy (or whatever) :((. She wrote it down. But it was written with emotion. Hands shaking as she put the pen down, throwing the notebook away….. out of shame/fear… maybe even hatred :(. You don’t understand her. When I was in elementary school, my friend and I would make “fairy houses” out of the dead mowed grass we would find on the playground. We would search for fairies around the playground during recess and created a secret club called the fairy friends forever. Thank you for unlocking this memory Chad Chad 😂

That is so cute. I used to play fairy with one of my friends and we would draw a map of the playground area with everything labeled as different fairy hideouts. For example, this one tree in the corner was perfect for a fairy resting spot because it was curved so you could sit on the bottom and it had a tree stump near it like a table. I wish we made little fairy houses. I actually make dollhouse miniatures and fairy garden accessories now, so if I started then, I probably would have been more skilled now 😆

Has the same vibes as kid me receiving a book about all the different dragon species as a gift (with detailed illustrations and all) and thinking in my stupid child brain that it's non-fiction cause it was done so well lol. I used to run around in the fields near my home trying to find dragons like a national geographic animal researcher wannabe; I only wanted to keep a baby dragon though, so I can then bring it home and cuddle & play with it like a puppy. I'd always take the book and snacks with me in a little bag (cause you never know when I’d need to consult the book about my many findings of dragon activity). I even rehearsed arguments to convince my parents to keep the dragonling when I’d find it. Kid me had it all figured out.
