Tried it 8 times in 2 days, worked 100 Percent. Amazing! will buy the Buzzsaw Passing from BJJ Fanatics, as I find Andrews Style of teaching way cleaner then most Instructions. No Fillers, no Jibberish Accent and truly Fight Proven. Hope to one day train at Daisy Fresh. I think one week there is like 1 year rolling somewhere else. Consider me a Fan!

Have generally been a triangle/arm bar kinda guy, always felt my back choke game lacking. Since seeing Andrew's method, have gotten a significantly higher percentage of chokes, most of them in this fashion. Great in-depth analysis/attention to detail, and counter-counters.👏

Hey Wiltse bros, big fan of both of you! Could you talk about why you see rear triangles as a B game from the back? I myself have a real hard time, trapping the arm without having my knee over the guys shoulder, works fine for transitioning to rear triangles, but its shit at choking from the back. love to hear your take - Good to have you back Andrew!

Andrew thank you for this . One question- why do you prefer to get the person laying on the underhook side, rather than laying on the choking arm side ?
@jackkempton4567
@jackkempton4567 2 жыл бұрын
Less high percentage options on the "strong side" OR the choking arm side. The underhook side has a triple threat option: armbar, arm trap rnc or rear triangle.
@theinfjgoyim5508

What about if you have big traps and shoulders? I tuck the chin but before that I shrug forward and hold it. This lifts my shoulders to the bottom of my ears and prevents the angle for the choking arm entry. To some extent you don't even need to tuck the chin. It is almost like how a turtle can pull its head into a shell. It also can push the arm up and off at the same time and it proceeds the chin which kind of stops it all before it starts. Just curious what you think.

Aloha Andrew any pointers on getting the most out of gi training if I’m looking to better my Mma/no gi game? I try not to use grabbing the gi when I’m rolling and always work towards being on top since my main focus is mma. My gym mainly trains gi most nights. Thx for the content
@WiltseBrothers
@WiltseBrothers 3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I think the styles that work best in mma are pressure based / grindy styles that don't leave any space. In the gi I would spend a lot of time working on heavy squeeze and pressure on top and avoiding loose open guards on bottom. But I'm not an MMA expert 😅

When you trap the arm with your leg, is there a particular reason you don’t slide your heel (and hence the arm that the associated leg has trapped) behind your opponent’s back? I find that if I can secure a hook (with the arm-trapping leg) around the back of my opponent’s hip they’re even more stuck.
@WiltseBrothers
@WiltseBrothers 3 жыл бұрын
I actually think it is much less control. I can't move him up or down relative to me. I only use it to cancel turning momentum on bigger opponents
