Landing, like landing on kerbin. Just make sure to set your craft type to “base” then leave it.

@@DevonianMapping it's not the landing on eve that's the problem, it's when like me you miss calculated the DV required or forget to add powerful enough engines to ascend lol... My poor kerbals just end up littered around Eve with 'bases' lol 🤣

@@_RandomPea like I said, all you need to do is simply rename the craft to “Eve Base” and never look at it again.

Eve is a great first interplanetary target, as long as you don't intend to return from a landing.

With all the over-shooting when time-warping, I only do it now by clicking in map view at a point on my path, making sure the minutes are less than the start of my burn time, and clicking Warp to Here. I almost never do it the other way, now. Or warping using alarms.

I really like your academic approach, teaching me how to fish instead of just giving me one. Any chance you did a video about the mod Kerbal Engineer Redux, or anyone else that has a decent one? Thanks. No specific tutorial, but I have used in a lot in my live streams. I've got it installed in my most recent streaming series, but have yet to use it. I should probably change that. I'll note to talk about KER in tomorrow's stream. There's definitely more information there than anyone would use all at once. Don't worry understanding it all and just add what you think would be useful at the moment. It's very easy to keep modifying it as you go. For example, under the surface tab there's biome and situation, which is really helpful when collecting science.

I got the nearby same mission but with “enter the “atmosphere“. I went down to 85km cause game say atmo begin at 90km. Did not work at all

@@DevonianMapping I have a boat design that I sail around to recover splashed down booster rockets and spaceships for a 100% refund. Just get it in the water, point at the targeted piece of junk, and set the engines on full.

Are you talking about the Maneuver Tool? It isn't a mod, but I understand it isn't on the console version of the game. The video goes over how to transfer without the tool. 20:42.
