You've always had great answers and good tips that pertain to varying ways people play. That's why I now use your library as my go to source for tips. However, this video is missing something rather important, so important I think an updated reupload may be useful... Some of the tasks listed must be done after reaching the level. (Ie defeat 100 rocket grunts) some of the tasks are cumulative (ie get 35 platinum medals. Medals reached before this level count) this video doesnt explain which are which. That being said, there is one future task I haven't gotten the answer for which is quite important for my gameplay.. The one where you have to max out pokemon to level 50. I am several months away from that level up task. Is that one cumulative? I have already maxed out 3 pokemon. Itll be great to know if they count towards the goal or if I have to save more stardust and XL candies for when I reach that task. I am also itching to powering up more pokemon ASAP, but I'd like to know if doing so will put me in a harder situation once I reach the level tasks

Good point defintely missed that. I'll pin this comment so people know. And to anwser you question you need to power up the pokemon once you are that level. Powering them up to 50 before doesn't count!

And you can power them up 0.5 level before (one powerup less) before max out. And when you reach level 46, you can simply do that single power up.

The level 41 "power up a legendary 20 times" can be done on a low level Meltan. Open a Mystery box and catch the Meltan. There is a good chance some will be level 1. You can power up those for 200 stardust for the first few power ups.

It will be a very long time before they come out with new levels. The amount of XP to go from one level to the next after level 40 for the average player is just INSANE. I have personally been stuck at level 45 for almost 2 months and still only half way there. Lots of people use lots of "tools" to get where they are so fast...

The best way to level up a legendary Pokémon is actually just powering up melmetal. This is what I did to complete that task so I can confirm 100% that this will work as well

For level 44, right now you’re right it’s Master League, however I received credit under the Great League for winning a Little Jungle Cup match. I’m currently in the middle of doing these different tasks. Just a little tip for anyone who still wants to win Great League. You’re limited to 500CP, but it still counts towards your 30 wins.

For the level 47 task: Power up 3 Pokemon to their max Cp. If you have the 296 XL or 360 for Shadows, I would power up the pokemon to lvl 49,5. Because the task isn't retroactive like the ones with platinum medals. Also besides the CDay Pokemon and those common Pokemon. Meltan and Melmetal are also nice for XL Candy. I would focus on getting a 100IV or at least a 98IV Melmetal to push to Level 50 or 49,5. You have unlimited supply of Meltan boxes every 3 days, so personally I would wait for a 100IV or a good IV Shiny you got from a lucky trade.

For the souvenirs needed for level 48 there is a trick but it requires multiple ulta/best buddies. When your (ultra/best) buddy brings you a gift, don't open it. Get the rest of the daily hearts for that buddy and then SWAP to a different ultra/best buddy. Your new buddy will also have a gift. Repeat the process for as many ulta/best buddies you have/want (preferably more than 10). Once at least 10 of your buddies have the gift, you can start opening the gifts by swapping buddies again. This can be done on the same or on a different day. By using this trick I finished the 10 souvenir task the same day I hit level 47 since I had spread the gift to more than 10 ultra/best buddies the previous day. Note: the gifts are not guaranteed to be souvenirs but they are all of the same type. If one is a souvenir, all of them will be souvenirs and if one of them gives you items, all of them will give you items.

The powering-up-to-maximum challenge can be done with low-candy 'mons like Pidgey. If you are Pidgey-farming for XP, you may have all the XL candy you need. Above Level 40, you start encountering XL candy, and you need like 296 XL candies to max out a 'mon. That's in addition to the regular candies. You can reduce the stardust required by trading with a lucky friend. Also by using purified critters. Pidgey-farming is collecting the 'mon that require only 12 candy to evolve, and evolving lots of them under a lucky egg for double XP. Weedles, Wurmples, Whismurs, Pidove, Caterpie .... ... The powering-up-a-legendary can be done by saving a really-bad legendary just for that. You can power-up critters with very-low HP for almost no cost, and accomplish the task. I made a tag for power-up, and tag 'mon that I am trying to build up, and also a few that are total trash.

For catching 200 pokémon in a single day, especially in a rural area, popping an incense/Meltan box also helps a lot!

I'll add: For the level 41, that since there is the raid task, it will give you rare candies (there are high chances to get rare candies when winning a raid), that can be used for the legendaries (or else, walk 20km to get a candy)! Don't forget too that shiny legendaries on raid are instant catch, so use a pinapple on them! Also, I didn't check but since mythical/legendaries are almost the same, maybe with Meltan it will work too... (and since it's easy get them/candies)... For level 47, a level 50 Melmetal is also a good candidate, since it's not a bad one too (in PVP/Gym), it should be quite easy to find one with good IVs. For the level 49, if you have the chance to travel, try to catch pokemon, so you'll have maybe "far" pokemon, that could be trade with your local friends. For instance, when visiting family in other cities, etc.

Search up how to get them without the name trick, only flareon, Jolteon and vaporeon is random when evolving eevee. The others have a trick for example sylveon you need to get a certain amount of hearts with Eevee as your buddy to evolve it to that

Another tip for XL candies on the lvl 50 challenge is walking with a 1km buddy, you can also do a technique in sure you know, to get the poffin effect without using one. Magikarp/gyardos is a really good one for this imo since a best buddy lvl 50 gyrados is also relatively relevant in pvp and raids.

Here's a tip for maxing out a Pokemon's level for your level 47 tasks. Melmetal is actually really good for this. Meltan is a Mythical Pokemon, and Niantic has updated the game at some point to where all Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are guaranteed to give XL Candy when caught. I have enough Meltan Candy XL to max out one Melmetal, and I'm sure by the time I have this mission, I'll probably be able to max out 2 or more, easily.

First off all you need to know that there are two kind of trades: normal ones and special trades. A normal trade is if both players have both pokemon, which are going to be traded, already registered in their pokedex (tier1 trade). If one of both players will get a new dex entry then it is considered a special trade. Furthermore special trades also include shiny forms (tier2 trade), aswell as (new) legendary pokemon (tier3 trade). Keep in mind that you can only do one special trade each day with the same friend. About the level 48 souvenir task is that you it will only counts as 1 souvenir for 1 pokemon, so you need 10 unique pokemon. The tips is if you already have 10 best buddy, you can swap your buddy to best buddy and claim it and then swap it again

The tasks that can only be done once (per trainer account), like platinum medals will count no matter when you earn them. Tasks which can be repeated eg you can evolve Eevees or defeat grunts as many times as you choose to only count if you perform them once you’ve been assigned the task - previously evolved eevees, previously won raids, go battle league etc don’t count.

@@jeffallanday Actually, level 44 as of today. Hit level 44 during Johto Tour. If I could copy images as comments, I'd show you a screenshot at proof. I'm actually already 3 million XP in level 44 out of 13 million needed to reach lvl 45. Hit lvl 40 end of Nov, lvl 41 just before Dec Comm day (for the Eeveelutions tasks, since Eevee was part of the Comm Day). Hit 42 the week of New Year's, lvl 43, the end of Jan, and lvl 44 during Johto Tour. The lvl 44->45 task requires 50 Rocket Leaders, gonna take some time, so I'll probably hit my XP goal before I finish that task. So I'll have overflow XP going into lvl 45. I'm averaging a Rocket leader a day, 2-3/day if i play all day on a weekend.

for lv43 I attack gym with Blissey, Slaking, Chansey, Snorlax, constantly battling them and use Alt account to berry those pokemon to max health and repeat the process for lv44 I just battle with my alt, done in about 1-2hr for lv47 There is a method increasing your change of getting souvenir For example i have 3 buddy name them A,B,C When A gets apresent, dont open it switch to B, wait 1-1:30 min, B should get the present, switch to C-repeat the process The present is random but still increase the chance of getting souvenir, the more 3s buddy u have the more convinience for lv48 I trade with my alt account => Always need a alt account at its finest, make my life 10x better
