One thing I would like to mention as a S rank myself (Belial and Djeeta). Do not feel like you always have do something in a match at all times. As in moving all over the screen by running/ jumping or pressing all your buttons. It doesn’t necessarily mean let your opponent do whatever they want. Instead this initiates for your opponent to be reckless in their approach because being impatient leads to dangerous situations. It’s about patient, but also pressure the same time

I was actually playing against a Belial in S++ rank today and can vouch this is important, I wanted to just play rushdown at the start and was losing a majority of the interactions I was having, I started to slow things down and just waited occasionally before making any actions and I started winning a lot more interactions from there on. Mixing up the rhythm of your moves and not being too hasty in decision making sometimes can go a long way 👍

Pretty good and usefull video, I'm just beginning and not having a real level in 2d Vs game, so, yes, it will be absolutely helpful. Big thing is the subtitle, english is not my mother tongue so, sometimes is hard to follow all the things said. Thanks for this.

Hey, this video was really well made and I'm glad to see content like this of GBVSR! I'm currently stuck in A partly cuz I can't stick with a character for the life of me, but thank you lots for this refresher!

The good thing you can do in the lower ranks is to remember. People are bad, and most of them don't know what they're doing, and they just keep using the same pattern over, and over; on wake up, some will just mash 2L without thinking (and never change), some will always delayed tech, some has a predictable wake up DP, so you need to test, and remember their habits, or switch things up when a new information arrives. And canditioning them is easy as well, I love to telegraph my 66M (by walking back to the safe distance where they can punish my blocked 66M) 2 times so they learn they should block (some will learn in just 1 time) then use Vira command throw because they think it's gonna be another 66M so they just crouching block.

I just started playing recently and this is the first fg I'm actually trying to learn. What were the 66L nerfs? Most videos I see about learning are 5 months old so I'm afraid to have been watching outdated info all this time.

One of the most noticeable changes is the pushback. After the 66L makes contact while blocking. The offensive cannot reapply 66L pressure. Since the room left after 66L is open to a dp. Also another change was making some of the 66Ls that were weaker than others a bit stronger

They added 5 frames of lag to it on whiff and also added pushback on block too, its a bit more punishable now than it was before but still a good gap closer at the end of the day
