I wish somebody like you had been around when I lost my mind. All I had was friends who said it was ok not to be and there is help somewhere else (doctor and therapists) and they threw me some cookies.

Regardless of whether it was "regular" life or recovery. I was living totally totally dysfunctionally And I find it astonishing that I couldn't see it. I would be more than embarrassed to say how I spent my time. Onlookers generally thought I was doing ok cause I was generally in good career and busy with travel etc.
