PouBeer same here dude..online I'm 32-11 and my defense isn't the issue but when I'm trying to play the CPU in franchise mode on all pro..they either hold the ball, only throw to the open guy after standing in the pocket for 10 seconds if pressure don't get there..or throw it away..gets annoying lol

Great video definitely improved my user skills after watching your vid helped out a lot I would always press triangle right before the ball gets there never got animation holding it makes a big difference picking a route and sticking with it another great point I like playing defense more than offense now

I noticed u said picking a route and going for it.. sometimes it's best to sit in ur zone. U do address that as well, but it depends on how good your opponent is. If u pick a route against a good opponent your gonna get KILLED because they are gonna pick you apart. I find it best to figure out how my opponent is playing. If I know he likes drags and slants I'll commit. If he likes down the middle I'll sit in the yellow route

Nah you gotta make em think you're covering one route then commit to the seconds/third closest route, average players will easily pick up on you taking away the first route. You should be able to cover multiple routes by staying in your zone.The best way to get user picks against good players is stay in your zone and trust the rest of your defense, don't try and be a hero. Most my user picks I get staying still, trusting my defense coverage scheme. You can't cover the whole field with one player but you can bait someone and cover multiplies routes by staying in your zone.

Brandon Pitzer 48 i do cover 3 80% of the downs but i use heavy flat in 10 or less yards and in long downs i use normal cover 3 (tha one with the purple flat zone) and i user mlb in the right side most of the time and hold LB when the ball snaps and itll take you to your zone and ur gunna pick off all they long. Get a fast mlb like deone buccannon or ryan shazier or a tall and decent speed like Urlacher

it depends on the situation. i mainly hold Y/triangle button, use the analog stick and wait for a route to come. if i do sprint, i'm anticipating a route. -- ex: if i'm playing cover three, controlling the middle linebacker and i see four verts is coming -- i will sprint and try to defend the seam route. another ex: on a slant route, i wait then press sprint and follow the receiver while holding Y/triangle button.

My view is simply this. What's the point in playing when there are folks that can take almost every pass out of the air when you throw it. Those who user should not be able to run or move faster than what the player is capable of! The ball speed should not be made slower to help the defense get turnovers. Madden is a scripted game with defenders making plays that they would not be able to make in real life!
