I've never played football on a team before. Backyard football, sure. But nothing else. I'm INVESTED in this information and this type of content, specifically from KB. I’ve searched so many KZbinrs trying find ways to improve in Madden and NONE of them has been as educational on the game than you, Kurt. My search is over and I’ve been pretty successful in most of my games. I say most because I’m still learning. I just started playing Madden again this year after not playing for several years. 7:42 and thats why the one defensive tactic i really took from my high school days that i still use now as a DC is to auto-check into man defense whenever theres a possible 4x1 look. If the running back is in the backfield on the opposite side of trips, then the safety shell shifts to the trips and its man on the back end. If the back is on the same side as the trips or its just flat out 4 receivers to one side, it autos into cover-1 robber no matter what, maybe 2-man if there isnt a scramble threat from the QB or a particularly abusive TE

you have a great defense lineman zone works wonders because defense lineman like a Chris jones etc can get to the QB within a few slips seconds of your Qb’s drop back step drop .

Imo Madden defense online is easier than playing against the computer. Just find plays that have posts, corners, and inverted L(flat then vertical) routes.

Although i enjoyed the content, I don't really believe that its based on skill. A lot of success in Madden comes with the team people play with. Guys make videos talking about skill, but they can't do it with sub par teams. Everyone plays with the top teams. Most of the time I make great reads. I throw it to the right guy yet they drop the ball 3 to 4 times on a drive. If not the knock out is overpowering the game. My 6'4" 230 lb wr is getting the ball knocked out by a 5'11" 200 lb corner who has sub 75 hit power. When you play with the niners you're going to get a lot of plays go your way wether you're good or not.

I get you're not trying to go for the "big play", but you missed easy TD's on a lot of these plays. Which, I get, not the point of the video. I'm just a glutton for easy TD's. Especially against bad coverage. Again, not the point of this video. But just some of those you went for weren't for good gains, and they could've been TD's. That's all I'm saying.

This being the first comment I seen made me look at the video a lil different n realize alot of the plays he dials up r nice but some of r risky. Like tht touchdown to kittle at 13:20. Corner is right there the entire time but it was a great throw bc it a high ball. Some decisions he make r questionable bc the big play is right there. It’s not like he can’t make the throw he was dottin up all game. I wanna see u go for the big play everytime if possible
