Jeezy, I'm a barber in training and you inspire me. I was on the wrong path and got addicted to opiates, was bad off for 6 years. I had everything from my own car, place, my own home studio with a soundproof booth, went to college for music engineering, and when I graduated I was working with several artists who lead me down the wrong path. I know we all make our own decisions but it was a "you are who you hand around" kind of thing for me. Soon as you know it I became opiates dependant and got bad. Crashed 3 of my cars I owned over a few years, lost my home, my studio equipment and everything else including my grandmother who passed who raised me like her son. I went through alot Jeezy and told myself enough is enough. I have too much talent to be wasting. Today I'm almost 3 months clean not even a drink. Back to working out too. I don't wanna die Jeezy😔and I have a 12 year old son who needs me. I decided to throw myself into a 28 day rehab. Then after that I went into another rehab for 5 weeks. Now I'm in a halfway house for the next 3 months and then going to supportive living for 6 months after this. I'm taking all the help I can get because then there no excuses. I look up to you man, and have been wanting to get into being a barber for the longest. I just bought a Wahl's Home Kit (model 78524) and a straight blade. Nothing big, but it's a start. I can't afford much more than that for the time being so these will do! I uploaded my first 2 haircuts I did this week with the Wahl's to my Google drive and would love for you to give me some feedback bro! Please, any criticism is good criticism. Just have one question brotha. Ive been trying to fade my own hair for ah hot min.. I dont know if you remember that video where you had to bring in that extra "Arsenal" to finish that kids fade cuz of his hair contrast. Thats how my hair is basically no joke. I follow all steps and guide lines... If i have to pay for a session for serious work on my craft and the baber game i will.. My question is how can I over come this battle. I wont waiste your time ans say I'm rich. But I need to know is it my skills or the clippers & trimmers I use. If my hair is already hard to fade cause of the contrast. Should I be using the babyliss and the Andis masters also. I dont wanna spend so much money if I cant give my self all the way fade. I'm not racist at but my hair fade type comes out likw I went to a Wal-Mart or just mall baber shop. Which is okay. But I just want a decent blend. Love it. In the first 5 minutes learned somerhing new when I was under the impression "wolffing" had no other purpose than just a stagnant stage before cuts. Also was under the impression you were supposed to comb in the shower after a fresh cut. I keep my waves pretty close to my head when I have them wolfing at 1 1/2 at the most. Truly appreciate this insigt u are def the guru of waves bruh. Start over every winter solstice then new year so Im buzzing right now. Shall try again. Peace
