I was once in love with a man who claimed he was Christian. He never missed a church service, program, or bible study. After falling in deep, this man started abusing me -- to the point where the relationship had to end. I prayed for God to change this man and let us get married for four years straight (foolish, huh?) He would call me every so often just to keep my hopes up. Then, one day, he called and told me that he was going to a town where his ex-wife and children were. All of a sudden something in me broke loose. I finally accepted the fact that God has said "NO!" to my prayers for this man. I also came to the realization that God didn't want me to be married to a so-called Christian man who was crazy jealous to the point where he would get both physically and verbally abusive. I was really tempted to get in touch with his ex-wife to find out why they had broken up. God told me in the spirit that He had already shown me. I just didn't want to accept it. If my life depended on it, I couldn't tell you what else that man said to me before we said bye to each other and hung up. You see, I finally had enough sense to listen to God and not him. The man stayed away for quite some time. When he finally returned, I told him that I was now dating a very nice and well-established man, and it looked like our relationship was going to work out. The abuser got very angry. He said, "What!!!!???? Is he there with you? I said, "Yes, we are about to eat dinner." The abuser said, "Oh, so now you're cooking for another man? Do you want me to come over there and whip your___ and his, too? I chuckled and said, "If you come over here starting trouble, I'll call the police, that's after you get your behind whipped. Believe me, this man is no punk. I am not going to be on your side. You WILL go to jail today." While telling him this, I came to another realization. This abuser wanted to keep me dangling on a string just in case his attempt to get back with his ex-wife didn't work out. Since I was the first person he called when he came back to town (so he said), I guess his attempt failed. The abuser paused for a minute, and then said, "I guess I messed up pretty bad. Please forgive me." I let him know that I had forgiven him but that did not mean that I wanted him in my life. I told him that I now had a man that valued me, was very kind and loving, and that he asked me to marry him that coming Valentine's Day, and I accepted. I wished the abuser well, blessings fro the Lord, and told him that I would pray that he would find a woman he valued and who valued him. He said very angrily, "BYE!!!!" We both hung up and that was that. That happened 32 years ago. I did marry the man that God had sent me, we had five children, and I haven't regretted doing so not one day. Our Heavenly Father wants what's best for us. We as human beings don't always know. The Holy Spirit used the abuser to show me what kind of man God didn't want for me. Ladies, this is how it always happens. When you insist on being with a man who is no good for you, God lets that man prove to you that the relationship is a mistake. Why? Because many of us won't listen to our parents, pastors, aunts, uncles, grandparents or others who love and care about us when they tell us that a man we think we're in love with is not right for us. That was me. God said "NO!!!!" I am so happy He did.

I met him one time and for some reason something wasn't right about him. I have a feeling him and his wife was going to get divorce soon. I was right.

Here's an example of my prayer to God, "Dad may I please recover all today as David recovered all in the old Covenant in 1Samuel 30:19? I thank you that I'm in a new and better Covenant than King David was in with better promises Hebrews 8:6. I also ask that you may please bless my business today. I thank you, in Jesus name, Amen." My question to you Pastor Shane is, why wouldn't God answer this prayer and what is wrong with it?

Everything we should be praying for should be within God’s Will, or rather, what God wants to happen.📖🔑 He tells us exactly what we should be praying for - and it’s not for our vanities.. Formally, enter into prayer with the Lord’s Prayer, yes!! But then, in prayer, make supplication,🔥 plead the cause of the widow whose Husband died by crucifixion, plead for the orphans who are without their Mother🕊 and their father, and plead for the stranger who strives among us.🙏🏿 Let God’s Will be done, and then He’ll take care of the rest..
